Glad to hear they're revamping the story as well- as these were precisely my sentiments. Really hot in the beginning, but the later chapters it just kind of meanders and doesn't go anywhere.
Personally I'm hoping impregnation could be put on the table for the ending chapters of this game. Can't wait for the next update!
Thank you for saying that. We’re trying to bring an interesting evolution to the characters. The storyline we’ve planned so far for Season 1 has 10 chapters, and focuses on the relationship evolution between Marge and Jacob. And Chapter 10 will bring a closure for this season (I’m stating this as abstract as I can).
Afterwards, the plan is to continue the story in Season 2. Season 2 is just an abstract idea for now. We haven’t considered pregnancy yet, but I guess it remains an option for Season 2.
IMO I think pregnancy in a romantic/erotic storyline should happen between a couple that has confessed their love for each other and are in some kind of committed relationship. I’ll repeat it again, this could be a possibility in MMC, but it’s too early to pin it down.
Of course there could be other scenarios, like accidental pregnancy, but this scenario won’t work for the story of MMC.
It’ll be interesting to hear what everyone thinks about pregnancy.

As for pregnancy scenarios, if you do decide to put in pregnancy, I've found impregnation is hottest when it's deliberate and the woman is quite verbal about trying to get knocked up. For me, at least, accidental impregnation is kind of like skipping over the best part, and in some ways I'm not terribly keen about pregnant sex per se. Just the act of impregnating.

Think wanting to impregnate a woman that you love is what a healthy and virile man wants to do by instinct. It's the ultimate mark of ownership of a woman to get to breed her. Sure, in this taboo case you're kinda begging for problems with that but who cares since it's fiction.

It shifts the taboo nature of the relationship into an even higher gear, imho. Also impregnation in adult games is one of many kinks. Some like it, others don't. Pretty much like every other kink around here.

Not all perversions are compatible, and not necessarily all of them are mutually exclusive with romantic scenarios.

Yeah, there are three different things here; the process of getting her pregnant, then sex while she is pregnant, and lastly what happens after pregnancy.
The process of getting her pregnant can work on several scenarios for an erotic story. The closeness and the passion is the main focus.
Then sex during pregnancy is a little bit different. It needs a 3d model for the renders that evolves with the pregnancy (that has a certain complexity). It is doable, but if we’re focusing on believable characters, it’s going to another kind of story that shifts away from “erotic fantasy”. A woman during pregnancy is a different “beast”; shifting emotions, the process of the fetus growing, doctors visits. It’s not an erotic story anymore. It shift more to reality, rather than erotic fantasy. I don’t believe many people would find that interesting, but I’m curious of other opinions on that.
And lastly, the obvious story element of where would that child be after it’s born. Other games/stories use the “the child is with a nanny/grandparent, and mom is ready for action again”, or the more weird option of “the baby grows on its own with no attention from mom”. Another option is “the baby goes for adoption” which leads to a weird character development. All of these leave such big plot holes. If we’re focusing on believable characters, this won’t work.
This usually means the stop of the story and a “they lived happily ever after” kind of ending. It leads the story to an inevitable end, or somehow limits the options.
These are my initial thoughts, but if you have any ideas on the subject, please share it.

True. But it also depends on how quickly time progresses in the game. If the whole game plays over a few weeks/months only then you can have the LI pregnant without needing the belly growth.
And I agree, sex with visually pregnant women is probably an independent kink. To make that appealing to its fans you probably need to write the story explicitly about it. It's not one of my kinks so I can't really imagine how to do that.
Yeah, at that point we are not talking about the same erotic fantasy the game started with. I guess you could try to explore some "young" parents scenario. Maybe include some fetishes like lactation. And if the MC's "condition" is still there his partner would still need to take care of it. No idea how to include the actual baby though. It can't be in the sex scenes obviously, since that would probably gross out most players and possibly attract attention by some authorities. So you'd have a 3rd, tiny person in the relationship that doesn't help in many sexy renders. It's probably best to end the game before this and leave it for a future game, or to the readers imagination only.
A lot of people have more than one child, not too spaced in time, so probably not that hard to cheat some sexytime.
