I’ll be adding it soon, and it will also be included in the main version with the release of version 0.8.
I didn't quite understand you, as you say, "I'll add it soon," one thing, and then you say another, and it will also be included in the main version with the release of version 0.8. That Halloween will be added with the release of version 8 of the game, and by that time, when version 8 comes out, I won't want to play this Halloween anymore, I'll just play chapter 8 and then delete the game, and all the events for Halloween should be added when this holiday is happening there, and not when it's no longer there, the whole atmosphere of the WAP game that you created there will be lost.

I'll probably skip it and wait for the continuation of the MAIN STORY...it's much more interesting than these clown outfits.:sneaky:

Most people agree that "special's" are annoying and a waste of valuable dev time.
From Your perspective. From a dev's perspective, it's a distractionary project because an idea for the main story has gotten stale or maybe there's something that they want to add but is just having a creator's block. A side story like a holiday special allows them to get that idea of a "what if" type of scenario off their brains which opens fresh ideas for the main story, which in Turn, helps to avoid burnout. If 10KI got burnout and abandoned the game, you'd Really have something to bitch about.

I don't think it takes much brainpower to create a long and engaging storyline for a game... It's a game, after all. Create and come up with the MAIN STORY. Getting distracted and sidetracked... that's what I consider the "FALL" of a game. .. In my opinion.;)

Sure, but as a dev, one should keep (payed) customers happy also. just speculating here so please don't bite my head off, but seriously doubt they like stopping progress over getting a couple specials every year.
Though maybe pet prjects accumulating progress along the way aside from main projects

I can see your point here but That's the danger of making a profit from your creation. It forces an obligation for content, be it timely stories, story content or rendering. Now I'm Sure that there are subs that have no expectations and just want to be supportive because they like the story or renders but those types of supporters are RARE. Human nature dictates that, if you spend your finances on something, you should get a visible return. That's just economics. Many of the better games started put as passion projects but got ruined once the money got involved. As a solo dev or a 2-person team, it's Vital to decide how you want to treat your project from the start. If the motivation is money, then careful plans must be made to create & go over the story, work on the rendering & what looks that you're going for and most importantly, have at least a part or several parts already done Before ever putting out a demo. If you already have part of your tale in the can, so to speak, there shouldn't be a rush to do a follow-on. That way, if you have to make minor adjustments to a story, the delay Shouldn't affect any future work. It should take a Lot more brainwork to have a successful game or book beyond "I have an idea. Let me throw this together so that I can get paid."
