Renders are good, but fucking hell, what are all these effects between renders. It's like someone found After Effects yesterday, and thought they would go for a mix between a Bollywood action movie, and Hans Zimmer noises for a porn game. Insane. chill out mate.

really nice art (beautiful cake) but all the dramatic pausing got on my nerves, kinda lost interest. theres tease and then there is just dragging on a scene.

Wow. Great game. Great renders. Great story. Can you keep it like this ?. The erotic approach is amazing. The lady is so beautiful. Different game. Please keep it like this. Milf and boy is the best. I like the affections and the music. Maybe some renders especially of the body needs to be in 4k. Great game. Soon will be nomber 1. Wow

I've looked at the image folder rather quickly, because these renders are looking pretty amazing. But I had a hunch that nothing would happen, unfortunatly that hunch turned out to be right.

I'll come back in the future though :giggle:


Nothing is happening

terse criticism based on the fact that there is no ‘PORN’....
And yet many things happen between the protagonists that help to create something that doesn't exist... except for ‘PORN’.

Chapter 01 is: slow burn.
This isn't a game where there's sex every 14 frames.
It's true that our target audience isn't those who want to find ‘dirty porn’ straight away.

It's a slow burn that builds relationships between people.
It wouldn't make sense to put sex scenes in just because you're expecting sex.
You have to build up why and how it happens (and we have a certain rhythm called slowburn - a speciality expected by a certain % of F95 players.

We also said a year ago that we wanted a game that would take users away from the real worries and problems of life: the environment is soft, colourful, soothing, no physical brutality, ‘whipping’, etc... just slowburn.

I'm sorry that for you, ‘nothing happened’ but that's okay, because I believe there are over 18,000 games on F95 which has a list to suit all tastes. Melissa's adventures won't have seduced you, too bad.
But it's a good thing that this slowburn, this particular construction attracts a public that is asking for just that.

It's hard to satisfy all tastes, you're bound to lose people. But denaturing yourself, twisting the storylines just to include porn for free = no (and others are doing it for us, which fulfils certain expectations).
However, in the future, things are bound to happen between the protagonists as emotions evolve.


Apart from the ‘nothing happens’ part, which is obviously unfair, we hope you'll find pleasure in the future. (Your review was cool, no worries, we were waiting to pin the first post that said ‘nothing happens’ before making a global response.

My first impression: good renders with a pretty horrible (IMO) textbox:
  • text on the small side (for a default);
  • line spacing is (too) tight;
  • no opacity setting (preferably it can be set to 0 with still proper legible text (using outline or drop shadow perhaps));
  • no bg gradient (top to bottom) either;
  • aligned (box itself + text) all the way to the left;
  • lines are too long (too many words per line);
  • colored names is ok, to use for (the whole body of) text I find meh (looks a bit cheap, or use a more subtle color);
  • finally: I think there are better, more elegant & legible fonts than Verdana.
When there are 4 lines of text (which I find way too much to read in 1 go) I suppose you could split that?

The other day there was another new VN with great visuals/renders for which the same critique more or less applied. Kind of a shame; brings to whole esthetic down IMO. Deserves more love. Some do an excellent job in this area (can't think of a good (perfect) example ATM though..)
Variable font size etc. should be (a) standard already? (e.g. Between Humanity has that (does a good job overall & has some other good customization options)) Aren't there Ren'Py toolkits for this?

Anyway, just some feedback/opinion, congrats on the release! :)

Nice tech report:

It reminded me of the film ‘AMADEUS’: at one point the King goes to see Mozart and tells him ‘there were a few too many notes’ and that ‘the human ear can only hear a certain number of notes’. :ROFLMAO:

- the fact that the text is to the left = that's normal.
Normal because this negative space is not used by the visuals of the protagonists' faces which appear in this area.

- there is sometimes text on 4 lines.
but this is rare in the game. Let's be factual, reading you, it's a horror all the time.
Is it really cognitively hard to read 4 lines on rare occasions?

We wanted the protagonists to speak, so there's some text.


As for the rest of your report, I agree wholeheartedly with the need for better font work, refinement of the character spacing etc.
A refinement font will be included in V1.04 (y)

For the time being, Melissa seems to be blocked and has had no justified reason to take the initiative. (she's married and doesn't want to do anything wrong / forbidden)

The game and renders are actually really good. Main heroine have very beautiful forms. The only thing that piss me off and cuts my eyes it is all that shiny visual effects.

And yes... the world is complex and everyone has their own requirements, hope and expectations.

For example, since V.1.03 was launched I've received a lot of (extremely positive) feedback, particularly about the Godrays effects, the light sweeps... (some of them even gentle)

Between those who want more small effects, and you who seem so close to having a stroke that it's unbearable for your eyes, well that's where the limits are set and the world is complex.

So, yes.
The functionality angle is often a possibility.
It requires variables to be added to each if/then no line, which lengthens the processes (an animation + gfx no anim etc.).

As we always have less time for this project, we prioritise.
