Ok, so now from scratch again.can't find my game folder
But that's not holding the player time hostage, simply because the player is not required to watch those scenes. The game allows the player to skip every video scene as long as they have already seen them. They can even skip the scene for the sixth level of the girls when they have already seen it, but I considered it was not necessary to make the video scene skippable because the player is not obligated to go see them.Because they want to. As you said yourself, theyre extra content, theres no story reason for holding the player time hostage. Because thats what it is, holding the player time hostage. Cant scroll out, cant skip, gotta close the whole damn game and reload.
okay got yahOk, so now from scratch again.
You have downloaded the game from the op?
You extracted the game somewhere and you know where?
Now download the the mod again and put it in your game folder so it will look like this:

Now right click (with your mouse) on the mod-file and extract it "here". Then overwrite your files when prompted.
Start the game "MelodicDates.exe" and enjoy.
If you still got problems, you can always dm me
Yes, all good.
not skip, but move faster through it. Maybe I'm replaying the game ?In a replay you can quit the scene by clicking on the X button on the top left corner. But yes, I could also show all the buttons for the whole scene when in a replay.
But it doesn't make any sense to allow the player to skip the scenes based on videos because those scenes are not part of the main story of the game and, if players don't want to see them, they can simply ignore them.
Truth is that when you go to the map on the weekends you don't neccessarily know which girl you will see when you click on a place, so maybe the problem is there.
What would you say is the exact reason why you would want to skip a coda, i.e. those additional scenes based on videos?
Nice! Tell me though: what do you mean by 'wrong variable assignments'? And also, if you still have the list of the typos you fixed, I'd appreciate you give it to me so that I could fix them for the original.EasyMod for v0.7

I don't understand what you mean but move faster. How?not skip, but move faster through it. Maybe I'm replaying the game ?
I think he means faster, so that the buttons appear faster on top. So you can "get over with" fasterNice! Tell me though: what do you mean by 'wrong variable assignments'? I don't understand what you mean but move faster. How?
Instead of waiting for each button to enable, if all are available from the start, I can just click click through them or go directly to Finish.I don't understand what you mean but move faster. How?
That's what I said a few posts earlier: it would be a terrible design decision to enable all the buttons at first because it'd spoil the sense of "progression" those scenes have. That would be as if I allowed players to skip every scene after wining a minigame. The game would be reduced to 0, it doesn't make sense in terms of design.Instead of waiting for each button to enable, if all are available from the start, I can just click click through them or go directly to Finish.
Also, is there a fix coming for all the missing images errors ? I'm getting them for the 'last' girls regularly, I got used to save after every girl interaction now.
Does your game crash when you open Lola or Yang's details screens? If so, maybe I can release an "update-only" version.it won't spoil and sense of progression for me and I'm sure for many others. It's not like I have to push them all quickly if I want to watch a scene longer. I can do whatever I want, give players the decision, it's not really a progression anyway.
I found myself watching the scene 2-3 seconds then alt-tab to something else and come back to see if the next button appeared.
As for the crashes, they stopped me from playing, I'm left with 3 girls and all are crashing so waiting for the next version.
Personally, enabling after .5 or 1 second would do the trick, if you don't like the position, you can quickly move to another, and go through the entire scene in about 4 to 8 seconds. A 'Quit' button would also be helpful if you have no interest in watching the scene at all.Does your game crash when you open Lola or Yang's details screens? As for the buttons, I do understand you, but I'm not sure. If I make the buttons enabled at first, what do you think would be wiser in terms of design: making the buttons enabled once you enter the first video or enabling each button like one second or half of a second after the previous one?
I'm asking all of you, guys. What do you think about this?
I keep going over in my head and maybe the best would be enabling the finish button upon entering the scene, keeping the timing of the rest of the buttons as it is. I think it's important in terms of design to watch part of the clip before going to the next one if the player wants to see -for instance- the girl cumming or an specific position, but it is legit to let the player skip the scene as a whole too. I'm good with either approach, as long as it allows me to decide how much time I spend on a scene. Either I press a button to skip or CTRL to progress, it should be my decision. Everybody hates un-skippable cutscenes, there are memes about itDoes your game crash when you open Lola or Yang's details screens? If so, maybe I can release an "update-only" version.

I trust you'll find an optimal solution from everything that people proposed.

Besides, the way you guys are explaining yourself makes me think that what you want to do when you "alt+tab to wait for the next button to pop up" is finish the scene as soon as posible, am I right?
If I understood you correctly, it's too late for something like that since there will not be any new girls in the game, so there will not be any new version with an incomplete character. As for the codas, the additional scenes I'm still adding and will be adding for some time, I could think of a way to make them noticeable further than give you a message at your room upon entering the game in new versions.Ah and one more suggestion, if possible: When I check the girls info, the completed ones show a Star there. But there are some, the are not ready yet, no more content, there was a text telling me that during game play. But it would be nice to have some indicator there, besides the star, that there's no more content at the moment, so I know I'm also done with that specific girl.
