You had me believe there's no hope for this to continue in the future which isn't the case. […]
Relax, there's still quite the chance he'll continue this project.

Having hope in this guy is rather naive.
Been following him for over a decade. He's talented but extremely, extremely poorly organized.
He starts re-making stuff, bloating his project, concentrating on stuff no one cares about, making side material or test stuff and not releasing demos… while his code devolves into an unmaintainable mess (the latest, by his own admission, he mentions "spaghetti code" in the last MB3D update). Then he drops everything.
…do I
want him to fail? Nope, not at all. I hope he succeeds, his work has some of my favorite content in any hentai game ever.
I hope he
has understood his mistakes and will do this latest merchant game better. The fact the game has a smaller scope and he took steps to organize his work this time is promising.
So far, ain't hoping. He's showing lots of progress, yes — I'd wager, mostly from the work he did in the past year/year and a half — but he's abandoned the past… I think, seven projects? and I don't see him making an exception this time. Not when he's shown ecchi in 1 out of… 12? updates, not when it seems he still isn't grasping the concept of "gallery", not when he still hasn't released a proper demo of MB3D, not when he's still making excuses.
He actually speaks english!
Or understands at least enough to answer me in english when I asked him about the new project and why he doesn´t continue with his old project!
If you go to the ulmf thread, he was active there for a time (in English). I don't believe he's a native Japanese speaker, either — I think he's mentioned Singapore?
