I am trying to comprehend how Melody only got 204 pages on here but lesser games got more? Maybe a great game don't need no explaination. But anyhow I gotta wait for next ep. like everyone else and blabber like no one else LOL

Apart from the v0.5, it's considered the "Patreon" game because Mr Dots created this purely to keep his Patreon page alive so it's not "really" his game. Melody wouldn't have been created (Or created so early) if BMaC or other pledging sites were more reliable. I mean when you think of Mr Dots you'd first think of DmD before Melody.

As long as the harem ending doesn't feel shoehorned and breaks characters consistency in a believable way, i'm all up for it.
At the game's current state, i can only see some threesomes happening tho.

My suspicion is that the game is pretty much self-explanatory, so we don't get questions like "what is the difference between the official and cracked version?" (Daughter for Dessert) or "how do I complete the pool game?" (Milfy City) several times per page.

Pure speculation of course, but I have a feeling - backed up by the current relationship text for Level 3 - that we will have to start eliminating them one by one soon if you want the "perfect Melody ending".

Which is mostly no problem for me, but I don't know how to choose between Melody and Rebecca. Guess I will end up with two saved paths.

I will definitely have to go down an Amy route separate from Melody main save in future updates. I love them both, but in entirely different ways. Amy is the hard worker who has taken undue responsibility upon her shoulders, and just smiles about it. A positive thinker and a real sweetheart. Someone who deserves a 'happy ending'. Melody is the poor girl who has lost everything she had (aside from her aunt) and has rebelled and gotten hurt accordingly. She's finally breaking out of the shell she closed herself in to fight the pain, and becoming a real woman while opening up to the world. With all that she's been (and going) through, she deserves that 'happy ending' as well. I couldn't (consciously) have them both in one save knowing that one will not end up satisfied.

I think the "perfect Melody ending" will require that you never went after any of them at all. Remember, the walkthrough says getting the happy ending from Xianne will keep you from getting the perfect Melody ending. Then we'll have an imperfect Melody ending, endings for each of the other girls, and a poly ending with Melody and Sophia.

But by rejecting Amy early aren't you already doing that? Yes the pain is much less but same result?

I wonder if the recent Amy pic is taking place in her store. It has yet to be shown and would be the perfect place to make a new memory. If she and the player were to get frisky there, there's less chance they'd be interrupted by an employee/customer. Hopefully it's not just a pic she sent the player.

Forcing me to choose between girls is a good way to get me to stop playing a game. :winkytongue: I am not good at those decisions, there was one, I was in bed with 2, and just had to choose who I turned toward, and I froze, never to continue. Barely noticed it in DMD, since I don't really like half of the cast, but I don't want to give up on very many in this one. Even if it is not the 'true' ending, I hope there is a happy group ending. ...otherwise I will be very disappointed. :teary:
I hate when a game tries to make me feel guilty for doing what our instincts tell us, and try to 'catch um all', both our instincts as men and as gamers!

P.S. ... back on the band idea, the Ex can be our band's 'assistant', she can go get all the stuff we need, when we need it, in other words, our slave! :angel: ...oh, and roadie!

I don't know, I've seen that advice before for the animations not playing issue.

The movie playing shouldn't be dependent on your volume being turned on, but there we go...

It's purely a renpy thing. When we first started adding animations to our game none of them worked. That's because we knew there would be no music so we completely disabled the sound.

Turns out in renpy, not only do you have to have the sound turned on, but your animation must have an audio track. Which means whenever we make an animation we have to add a sound track that is nothing but silence.

Took us two frustrating days of playing with our settings to figure that out.

Renpy can be a funny fucking animal sometimes.
