I wish there was no inner monologue at all. Let the player do the thinking for himself I say.
To me, however, the most immersion breaking are the thoughts of other characters. If I'm to play a character I don't want to know what are other characters thinking. It ruins the suspense. This is probably my biggest issue with Melody.
I also am enjoying this game a lot, but I find the dialogue a bit stale. The subject matter and the depth of the conversation is fine, but the delivery is a bit stiff. Every single character speaks in the same manner and style also.

Do I have a memory relapse or has the language in the end of the previous chapter being "fixed" into a much worse version of Engrish since the last time I played this part in the previous version? All the shirts have become tops, drawers are draws and there's this "thing" now there:

Who the fuck says something like that :biggrin: instead of just saying: "Pick any shirt from there that you could wear as a nightgown tonight," for example. Or: "Pick any shirt from there to wear as a nightgown tonight."

Er, the skater kid in the park has a broken leg, the cast is on his leg, so why does he say "The doctor said it will take another couple of weeks before my arm's properly mended"?
At hotel just before the Amy date, Amy says "I like you're thinking" - should be "your".
Several times during their scenes together the MC's comments or thoughts are incorrectly ascribed to Amy.

Honestly I'm really enjoying the slow burn with this game, gives the characters opportunity to grow and makes events more natural.
So I'm playing the new stuff and found a somewhat disturbing scene. When eating at the diner with Melody there is someone in the background. That's not a big deal, HOWEVER the color of their shorts threw me because it at first looked like there were NO SHORTS. Distracted me and I though I'd post this in case @mrdots looks here so a slight change could be made to avoid the confusion. Yes I'm weird.
