Using the choice menu for "actions" isn't a choice. If a story doesn't change even with those it would still be kinetic, just hidden. Not saying this one is, but it wouldn't change anything in the end.
The single action clicks are pointless. The next part of the scene is going to happen no matter what anyway, so why make the player "choose" to do it? The MC will always call his friend, will always find the key etcetera.

hey, im about 6 years late to the party but i have a relevant question. there is a song in w7 folder, called "Melodys_ukelele_vocals". is there any chance you happened to figure out the artist behind it?I've been resting today, just bingeing on Mutahar's Deep/Dank/Dark Web shite whilst I dick about on BlueStacks. Gotta go back to work soon tooI'll see if I have time to search more this weekend. Did you spot that Jess has cleared her SoundCloud? As far as I remember that's one of the "fantasy scenes" that were released after the game concluded. Should be in the final version of the game here. (No guarantees.)

This might be a stupid question, considering the title of the game, but I'm curious if we can pursue other characters like Amy and Rebecca without getting romantically involved with Melody? And just be a good friend and tutor to her?

Yes you can pursue others, but it's about Melody, so there is going to be a shitload of content with her.
There is 3 endings with Melody, as well as endings with Isabella, Amy, Bethany and Rebecca.
