I had the Queen Normal Ending during my playthrough and no problem with it. I erased my save before the last bossfight by mistake, that's why I took a 100% save from here to see the other endings from the galery and got this bug with the Queen Ntr Ending. I didn't try the Queen Normal Ending from the galery and can't try the Queen Ntr Ending from playthrough (since I don't have my save anymore).

The normal end and true end. Normal end was split into two perspective while it gives you a choice of making it ntr for both, counting it as 4. We were cheated hard here.
I just finished the game and didnt experience the black screen but its after i updated the patch today before that I experienced the black screen during the bike building raid chapter and ticking the downscale option solved it for me.

So you managed to get the queen normal ending trough a normal playtrough and it worked, but doesnt work when seeying trough the gallery , same for the queen ntr ending.
Wouldnt be surprised if there was a variable that got touched somewhere stopping the endings from being acessed trough the gallery.

I went and download a full save from doujin-savedata and tried playing both the queen endings in the japanese version:

So conclusion either the other save was borked, or the save i got off douji-savedata is using old variables or something.
Maybe dazed is able to compare save data.

To upgrade Mephi's equipment, when you go to old town, go to the southern part of the map, there should be a door on a roof.
Go down the building to talk to hakase, then take the blueprint she gives you to the NPC in the left side of the Human base(near the weapon shop)
I only found out when I had 4 cubes so I immediately went up to psi blade lv 4, not sure if you have to go back to her everytime you get more psi-cubes or not.
Edit: You need to talk to Ernesta and have her give you the suits to resist the poison gas from the facility, then return to the research facility
