I should have been more clear - you're correct many games use it - yet of those you listed majority use it for pure ntr scenarios which I loathe. I mentioned jpn games because even if they're not that in origin, this kind of style is heavily influenced by that medium. Anyway it's old hat at this point - based on the current public update (and apparently the new one) the tone is going markedly away from this direction, which I couldn't be happier about.

Personally I was hoping the husband was going to open a Pandora’s box and unintentionally turn his once loyal and loving wife into a cheating slut messing around behind his back. Without Nicole’s POV I just don’t see how that is going to work very well

Maybe later at home she’ll give her husband a replay but that just isn’t going to work for a cheating path for Nicole. I think the developer is trying to do something unique but I just don’t know if it will suit my preferences.

I think it would have already appeared if it was going to happen but one way to save this game for me would be if Nicole had her own journal where she recounted her thoughts and interactions without the husband being present. That first bite of the apple in the restaurant was such a golden missed opportunity.

V2 was posted a few days ago on his patreon page. The developer also posted he plans to include Nicole's POV which solidly puts this game right back at the top for me. Personally I like the pace the story is developing. I'm a fan of slow and steady corruption. Knowing that Nicole's POV is on the horizon has put me back on the band wagon.

yeah no lie that's a big part of why i hate the pov stuff - it's basically a proxy for cheating interests; there's no real reason to have pov-specific stuff in a swinging/sharing story.

Exactly, I really do think the developer is a talented writer and can come up with content to appeal to both audiences.
