As for the cheating path I’m still unsure about adding one. I’m trying to keep the story focused and avoid too many diverging paths. At the moment, it’s not something I’m actively planning, but I’ll keep listening to feedback as things develop. Regarding the yoga preview with Nicole bending that scene is part of the NTR/NTS path and becomes available depending on certain variables and previous choices.

I guess it's a case of who is cheating then, if you're going to have "cheating" and "NTR" as separate things (I would say like the site tags here, but I've been told by a mod that for the cheating tag it doesn't matter who is doing the cheating). Statements can lead to confusion otherwise.

It seems a lot of NTS games lately are pushing 'dates' for the gf/wife. I don't get the appeal of that. It's just humiliating for the MC. I want to share her sexually, I don't want her to look for a boyfriend. lol

I guess it's the way the devs see as being best/easiest way to introduce a new player into the dynamic, or the wife maybe wanting a connection before doing anything sexual with a new partner. The one I tend to hear about a lot is going to a bar together and pretending to be strangers, watching for someone to come and try picking up the wife. I've not seen that one so much recently though. And I don't think I've seen a game where they just find someone on a dating app or something (they're probably out there, but just not in games I've played).

The way I figure, in that situation the husband thinks it's something he might like to explore, but when it comes down to it, he realizes actually he doesn't like the idea. If the wife then goes ahead behind his back, it's no different to doing it without the initial curiosity the husband had. It's still cheating, and it's not saying that the husband is okay with it, or would be if he found out, or that he would get aroused by it.

The issue with games playing it that way, is they don't do it well enough - there's rarely any thought process and explanation around why the husband suddenly pulls back, or it's done as "I'll tell her no and see what she does, then if she goes ahead I can watch without her knowing, that'll be so hot..."

No it still doesn't work. The vast majority of men find even the thought of their monogamous partner with someone else, physically repulsing. So the whole "hmmm maybe I like that, oops scratch that I don't", doesn't work in a story that at least tries to be realistic. If the dude is contemplating it, he is already too far gone to be of use as the betrayed party in a proper cheating drama.

Most players who aren't into the nts path, will lose any empathy for MC in the ntr part. He is a cuck, he deserves it, is the thought process. There is no sense of betrayal and injustice, because you think the dude started it all and brought this on himself. Because any man who isn't into that, would be killing the idea at the first hint there was even a possibility for that. Not contemplate it.

The only way for this to work, is for the game pre-branching, to have completely clean, vanilla characters. Which means dude not even thinking of cuck shit and the woman only having eyes for hubby. Not that easy to do and still setup the branches.
