So, you probably haven't read the developer's statements carefully. He never said that NTR is skippable; he clearly stated publicly twice and privately once that NTR is avoidable (meaning it won't happen)
So, netorare is definitely avoidable

Some people say that the statement "NTR is avoidable" suggests that we can prevent any other man from getting close, which is often mentioned by vanilla fans

At the moment, nothing critical happened in the game that something like this could happen, we were just introduced to the characters and the dev made "cliffhanger" for the future!
This is all just bait for players! What would they have and what to talk about, until the next update comes out!

I asked you a question about the bilding of the plot in such games and i discussed this myself!

i still believe that as a precursor to the beginning of the story we see, that the wife is cheating with her coworker. little clues point to it. showing her cleavage at work, even after the husband points it out before she leaves. she closes it, then it's open again when she sends him her selfie. but the more telling clues are how she ignores her husband at the club and is hanging on the black dude. Kylie is trying to keep the mc's attention off his wife while she is getting ready to go off to the bathroom with the black dude. the look on his face when he opens the stall and says he was frozen in place by what he saw, suggests to me that she is blowing the black dude and this is the beginning of the end for their marriage. remember at the beginning he writing about how things got to the point he at there. the wife is now his ex. and the story will show how it got to that point. either he gets cucked, which i won't play that path cause i too hate the concept of cuckold, the idea that she is already cheating on him and this is how he finds out which will lead to them divorcing seems more plausible to me..but that's just my opinion. can't wait to see what is actually happening in the next update.
