I like the premise, but -

The enemies are too damn fast!
The camera is too close.
Losing mutations between levels kinda sucks.
Combat sex should be rewarding, not a punishment. It's an erotic game, let me fuck the aliens, not dissuade me from it. At the very least, pause combat - or slow it down dramatically, and don't cover my entire screen at the same time!
No use button for items in the inventory, only assign.
Started weapon should be equipped automatically.
You shouldn't be allowed to enter a level with no weapons equipped or in your inventory.
No metaprogression and permadeath together are not cool. Add one or get rid of the other - ideally do both.

I'll come back when it's had some time to cook, 'cause it's looking like a good game. It just needs polishing. And content.

Well, I decided to just risk it, because fuck it, if other people ran it, there's atleast a game to go with the virus. Definitely agree with what other people are saying - I don't normally disagree inherently that sex being a punishment in games like this is bad design, but the sex is incredibly punishing on top of what might be the hardest survivor game I've ever played. There is nothing you don't want more in this game than to get fucked - it's a surefire way to get stuck on something by mistake and immediately end your run. It really should be a QTE of some sort that pauses the game. At the current rate, I can't see the corruption mechanic from getting fucked ever mattering because you will only ever get fucked once or twice before losing.

And that's even before how slow it can be to get right into a new run. Customize your Rey, make sure to select the tutorial skip Rey, equip your gun, go into a level, and then a full minute of full concentration survivor gameplay where you can't get hit more than 3 or so times because the 4th will send you into a deathloop because you can't see shit. If you're trying to play it as a sex game, you'll have to use 2 hands anyways because you need to use the mouse to select level ups and the keyboard to move regardless of control scheme, and it isn't exactly viable to swap between them as needed because the game unpausing instantly is not enough time to swap, I don't care how much experience in jacking off you have.

All that said - There's absolutely a fun lewd survivor game in here, it's just way too hard for a sex game. I look forward to seeing how it develops if it doesn't get abandoned.

This game has amazing potential but ofc needs lots of optimazing. Like speed of enemies , sex system , and the android joystick ( why the hell is joystick on the right side ) please develope this game and dont abandon it because its rare to see games like this. btw its imposible to pass first boss like tf please add more ways of upgrading our character.

I find the upclose face shots to be a big turnoff. Not really liking the looks of them. In other regards, it's a nice idea, rouge-lite vampire survivors with body transformations and sex with aliens.

Too fast paced/enemies hit too hard for a jerk off game. Character art is rather inconsistent between different scenes, the worst being the close ups on the face like in the banner. Preferably, it would look closer to the standard conversation model. Small pet-peeve: why is our crew member "African-American" versus simply just "black"? Are they specifically from America? If so that's fine, it's just really odd referring to a particular ethnicity rather than race in a sci-fi setting where a character in the far flung depths of future to a corner of space we haven't been too isn't from a space colony or harvest world.

This game is off to a decent start conceptually and would really benefit from changes.

According to their public patreon post yesterday, the answer is yes, they're a superhuman roguelike addict who thought their game was too easy even. I shudder to think what the game would look like if they balanced it around what they thought is hard.

There's "difficulty", such as how fast you move and how often enemies spawn. There's "strategy", where what upgrades you pick determine how effective you are. And then there's "bullshit", where you instantly have your whole screen blocked by pop-ups so that you are neither able to fap nor actually play the damn game.

If I lose by walking into walls or some shit, mea culpa. But "lmao can't even play" is not fun game design.

The save is stored in -> C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\MetaMorph (<User> will be you) or just got %appdata% and into the MetaMorph folder

If you quit to the main menu it's saved so you can continue but saves are lost when you start a new game or lose, but if you wanted you could backup or do whatever with these files (.tres files)

bg_520_status, blg_2000_status, and lg_1040_status are your gun stats

there's some map data files but if you quit to menu then continue you don't start in a round anyways

corruption isn't saved (or at least it's not working for me) so it does weird stuff like reseting when you close and open the game or can be carried over to a new game kinda

I did the tutorial but couldn't figure-out how to use my gun.

EDIT: Okay, so instead of getting right into the game. You have to talk to a hologram lady, then back-off from her, go back to her, then she gives you a rifle with the new dialogue option. Why? I just want to get into the game and play.

The game is insanely difficult and if you get caught once by the enemy. You're treated to one of this games many up-close looks at the player model. Which every close-up seems horrifying. While the model on the right seems fine. The close-ups are just so disturbing!
