If I had to guess, it's likely based off of one of the videos you can find where the guests your character are entertaining refer to them as a girl. At the same time this could have been a coy way of rubbing in the MC's subordinate role.

Clearly a trans protag, the dialog is all female pronouns even internal, and there is a large female gender sign in the UI, and the game says as much. Nothing hints at them having been male in story.

I also assume the game dev is trans based on this, so self insert of there's most likely.

Re-download it. I used the MEGA link if that helps.

Also make sure your using 7zip or the like, and that you didn't mess with your settings, and are on a US Compatible language for your OS.
