Hmm, that makes alot of damn sense. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my sex scenes, I knew they were missing something besides better posing. Maybe not treating them more like I was writing an erotic story, being more descriptive etc., and using the renders as more visual enhancement to the text is where I was going wrong. Rather than try to tell the story with the pictures.... animations ...
Honestly, I wouldn't bother with it. Being more descriptive in the naughty scenes, detailing the actions, maybe even the thoughts of the people involved and especially the transitions between positions/images does far more for immersion than (even a good) looped animation will. If done well it even acts like a kind of third person dirty talk, which is always great.
Wow that makes so much sense now that I am writing it out. There are inherent limitations to still pictures when it comes to conveying a story anyway, which I honestly lack the appropriate skills yet to overcome anyway. No clue why I haven't been treating them that way since the start... LMAO I feel like an ass that I didn't think of this earlier. Hope you guys enjoy the next sex scene more.
