Ren'Py - Completed - Midnight Paradise [v1.0f Extra] [Lewdlab]

First, let's get a few things out of the way:

A. It's an incest game.
B. It's a sleeper-creeper.

I myself am not fond of creepers in any way shape or form, but the renders make up for it, and the MC isn't the usual 12-year-old-in-an-18-year-old's-body, he's ok-ish

Now, with that out of the way, on with the brief review;

It's an absolutely stunning game, visually. And I mean that, when I saw the navigation icons, I was stunned. Yes. The navigation icons. You know, that part of sandbox games that no developer puts any time or effort into? The things that usually barely work and look like they were copied from a jpeg from the early '90s? Yes. Those. In this game, they look so breathtakingly high quality and professional, that I can't even.

Have you noticed how I'm not even talking about the game per se? Well, I feel like I don't have to. Just look at the disclaimer above, look at the renders, understand the mind-boggling quality of even the most mundane stuff and your mind should be made up by this point if you want to give it a try or not.

The game had some problems after the initial release when it was in unity. After the change to Renpy it still had some bugs, so that was a problem.

Now i can say that most of the bugs were fixed and the change to renpy was a good decision.

Game´s strongest points are the renders and very sexy characters.
The renders are absolutely one of the best here, very well detailed and mom is one of the sexiest woman in all of the games i ever played and i played more than a hundred of them.

So it is definitely a game worth playing, and it is one of 5-6 games i am playing after every update, the rest i wait for the final release.

Pretty damn high quality, the renders are all pretty high res with good lighting and post-processing. Animations are all nice and smooth. The UI is pleasant to look at, and easy to navigate. All-in-all it's just a nice game. My only complaint is the lack of content, but it's in development as I write this, so I digress.

Very interesting game for me as mc is very relatable to me. But about game-

Overall great game but it is Lewdlab so more shocking would be if it sucked .

In general all 3 woman ( lives with us at same home )are so beautiful. I guess developer really worked on them while creating. Scenes are beautiful and events are easy to find even without wakthrough. I am still waiting for REAL sex scenes . best game i played this year .

PROS:
- Excellent renders of female characters models
- Slightly good sex scenes
- Good animations

CONS:
The game has very little sexual content, most of the time being nude character scenes and exhibitionism. The sexual content of this game is pretty silly.
The map navigation of this game is a bit bad and a bit tiring, just like your gameplay.
Very boring story.

Review:
You are a handsome, rich boy and leads a life of Playboy. The MC lives in a house with twin brother, two sisters, and father and mother. At one point in the game I stopped following the story, because it ended up not very interesting to me, that in some parts of the game.
History:
The MC leads a playboy life, much spree, nightclub and banter, makes MC’s dad take out his credit card and his car (I think the car belonged to the father), and you come home, sleep in a kind of basement room and you have to see the example that your nerdy twin brother makes the family proud. But who says it makes the MC upset? and then the game starts and the MC starts to become a professional massagist seductive, yeah, most of the game the MC will be massaging his mother and his two sisters and you don't have to make much effort, you just massage them and use your seduction.
Gameplay:
It's a sandbox game quite uncomfortable to play. That's because map navigation isn't too bad, but it's quite boring.
Anyway, was better to have done the square mapping instead of clicking on the places. Also remember that you have no interaction with objects or anything in the house or places, so the navigation map is boring.
Another detail is that you have to come and go, besides sleeping, going to the places and then unlocking the progress with the characters, nothing more. The dialog options don't change much, just accept or decline, like most games that we see, without complication.
Graphics & Sex Content:
The The graphics is the strong point of this game. The renders of the female models are excellent, there's no doubt how perfect they are, the MC's mother doesn't look like a young woman but neither does she look like an old woman, she is a mature woman at 40 years of age. The older sister of the MC (Isabel), has a excellent render, and the younger sister of MC (Ruby) too. The sexual content is a little frustrating, the MC just does massage with your seduction and the game has more exhibitionism, the game has few sex scenes and animations, at the beginning you will see a scene, but from there, it's just massage. It is logical that in future updates will have more content, until then just wait.

So, why I did give 2 star?
The game has a lot of graphic quality, with great renderings of models, but the story ends up being quite pathetic. Most of the game you do massage, yoga and enter the female's rooms and practice small harassments (sleepsex) in a way that doesn't give much pleasure. The gameplay doesn’t escape that either, it’s uncomfortable to play a little, some places to go, rooms in the house, hours / days to go to specific places, it could be something simpler, besides, you don't even notice that the MC is trying hard to corrupt his family, of course he is corrupting, but not in a more elaborate way. I mean, sometimes it seems to be a little forced. Besides that the sexual content of this game is not much, that is, it does not have much content (slightly significantly). So, I gave a rating of 1 star, maybe it deserves two or even more, but due to the story with an idiotic script and a little bad gameplay, it is difficult to give more than that. I hope this game improves, as the graphics are excellent, what you need is to change the story a little and make it more captivating.

I held off on playing this until this version ( .6 ) but I decided to give it a try.

The good points of this game are obvious.

- Excellent renders.
- Very good animation
- The story with the mafia lady and shady lawyer guy is interesting.
- The plot of MC taking over the dads company, while trying to compete with his brother for it, could be interesting when its developed more.


Now, lets talk about the "ok" parts.

- The sandbox isn't that bad, at the beginning of this game it was supposedly terrible. I didn't run into any bugs or anything, the navigation is easy. So, while I'm not generally a fan of sandbox I can't complain about this as far as the design of it goes. But as usual with most sandbox games, there isn't a reason to have it. A regular VN would've got the job done. Its empty, as most sandbox games are.


Now, here is the bad.

- The stuff with the family, especially the mother, is the typical overused incest tropes. MC is a sleeper creeper, masturbating on his sleeping family members, the mom sees MC's dick and suddenly goes crazy etc.
- That also means the MC, who is supposedly a sexually experienced guy, goes off on the typical internal monologue about how hot his family are. He acts like the typical virgin MC despite being experienced. He is also an asshole but seemed to be improving as the game went on.
- The teacher character, while she is hot obviously, doesn't make sense to me. She is very very easily manipulated by our creeper MC to "reward" him for doing his work. She is as dumb as a box of rocks.
- The progression with the family members are way too quick to me, perhaps its the sandbox but I feel like there is hardly any real buildup with them. MC does yoga with his mom a couple times, and then bam, he is doing naked yoga with her. MC does a couple massages to the sisters, then they decide to get naked for no apparent reason.

TLDR.

The story not involving the family is interesting, the art is great and the family/teacher are just there for fapping and incest. Would've been a lot better as a regular VN.

I tried v0.6rework. I havent tried the game before the rework but i read that the MC was a jackass.After the rework he still is lmao.
Good things so far:

1. Renders are top of the notch.Both people and environment shots are amazing.Lewdlab makes good sht.
2. The female models are among the best i've seen so far.
3. Animations are high framed.As with the renders here there is attention to detail which is always good.
4. All the music tracks are amazing,i really liked them.Pepejam
5. Story seems interesting but its still too early to tell.Previous game had a pretty good story and this one seems to have one as well.

Kinda ok:

1. Can't say im a fan of the sandbox part but im not really against it,If its done correctly its gonna be good but it can easily fail.
2. The MC is a douchbag.In all the games so far you play as the golden boy so it's a different kind of pace and this doesnt bother me that much.

Bad things about it:
I cant really think of any tbh.
Its an all-round good game.

It has alot of potential knowing Lewdlab he wont disappoint.At this stage of the game i'd say wait a bit more before you try it(0.7-0.9 maybe) since it still intoduces characters.And there's no sex scenes yet.Dont complain about this y still need to build up the story before that point or else the characters are just uninteresting.

Technically speaking this is probably one of the worst games to play on the site. It struggles to see its own point, the story is slow and dull. With that being said though, the renders are fantastic, just wish a little more effort would have been put into a lot of the scenes. I enjoy Dev's previous work, but this game falls flat in comparison. The best thing about this mess to me is the menu 80's inspired theme music. Overall, it's a mediocre fap fest with no real point so far. I will be watching it though, in hopes for it to get better, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Pros:
1) Rather well developed story telling approach combined with interesting step by step corruption process
2) Really good models and animations: both in tech sense and appearance
3) No endless grind
4) The developer really mastered his skill since his latest game
Cons:
1) Map navigation

Top rate animations, story line, and game play. Yea, the developer never forgets that this is a sex game, in that order, so you won't have to grind through stuff. Also, it's professionally done ... down to the musical details. It's exactly the standard of excellence that you'd expect from Lewdlab.

Okay i dont normally review items. but this one is definitely top notch shit right here. the animations are excellent and the game asthetics are awesome. i am looking forward to what this dev does next!

Very good game in the spirit of Milfy City. The images are very well done, of quality as well as the animations. I hope there is a sequel.
We find characters such as the mother, the sister, the aunt and that gives a certain enthusiasm to pass from one to the other.
The story and the suspense are well constructed. I liked it a lot!

The Renders in this game are Beautiful. Also it is refreshing that the girls use models which are not standard. They have strong characters and are developed in an interesting manner. The Amount in the current version is decent. For myself i like a little grind in games, this is not the case here, it is fast paced.
Wayfinding is done really good, Menu is good and the whole Story feels cohesive.

Models and renders are great, much better then DoD, imo. I'm usually not a fan of animations but here they are one of the best, very smooth and natural looking. Maybe on the sorter side, but that's a plus for me. Writing is better than most games, plot is a bit cliche at start, but later stars leaning towards something interesting. No grind or obscure shit. The only bad thing about this game is it's not finished. :] And has may be a bit too much massages/night scenes, but that's a matter of taste.

Review for version 0.6 with incest mod. The renders are great, the story is interesting. I did not see any bugs. The gameplay is fun, and it's original. Definitely one of the better games on here. The models are nicely done as well. Not much to complain about other than it can be a little bit of a grind.

You have changelog so you know what you have to do to unlock the scenes.
The renders are just amazing and the animations and girls too.
The story is good, the mc is not some brat or stupid pushy like in some other games and that makes the game more enjoyable.
There is no grinding in the game as some people think, there is different massages and is normal that you will have to do each one to progress, you guys cant expect to just go all the way in one on the 1st one.
The music is not so bad .
The only bad things i can say is that you cant name the mc (maybe lewdlab will change his mind in the future.), the updates so far did seem on the short side but it will only improve from now on considering the remake is already done and there is nothing to change anymore.
Certainly a game to play and enjoy, already a lot of content, scenes to keep you entertained if you havent played yet .

After last update, the dev included an unavoidable "rape" scene and ruined the whole game, not recommended anymore.

What the hell is with all these massages? I feel like I am competing to become a masseuse. The devs should rename this as Midnight Massage or Midnight Masseuse or something. I'm giving this game a 4 only for the quality of the renders and animation. Story is subpar and MC acts like a total jerk. To play this, I seriously have to ignore his idiotic dialog lines and the fact that the MC is basically a cuck. To sum it up this game is like a beat-up car whose body and frame has been switched for a newer one but it runs like garbage. It sure looks good though.

This is a really good game. Lewdlab makes for an entertaining visual adventure and does a really good job of teasing the player along the way. It isnt mindless unbelievable sex everywhere - the characters show some realism in how they interact and and some of the ideas are subtle enough. Its an erotic thriller to say the least. hope the next update comes soon
