This adult game has been a long-awaited release, and after experiencing it, I have mixed feelings. Let's break it down into the pros, mids, and cons.

Pros:

The conversations between characters feel natural and flow smoothly, making the story easy to follow and engaging. There’s a sense of personality in each character that makes the interactions enjoyable.

Mids:
When it comes to the story, it’s decent but not groundbreaking. While it serves its purpose, it doesn't push any boundaries or offer anything particularly unique. For an adult game, it gets the job done but feels somewhat predictable at times. Another aspect that might deter players is the repetitive grind. While it adds to the gameplay, doing the same actions over and over without much variation can get tedious. Some might find it bearable, but others could lose interest quickly.

Cons:
The biggest downside is the development time. It took five years to get to this point, which feels excessive given the final product. While I appreciate the quality, it’s hard not to feel that the wait time was a bit too long for what the game offers. For a game to be in development for such an extended period, you expect something groundbreaking, and in this case, it didn’t quite meet that high bar.

In conclusion, while the game has its merits, especially in terms of visuals and dialogue, the long wait time and lack of significant innovation in the story leave something to be desired. Still, if you’re a fan of the genre, it’s worth checking out.

the game is a lot worse than dream of desire. the story and the game seems unfinished. the characters seems good, but the story is a lot of dejavu. drugs sex and cars is not enough to make a good game.

Overall this is a very good game and I very much enjoyed playing it, for me its a 10/10. I'm looking forward to seeing what Lewdlab comes up with in the way of expansions.

If you are new to AVNs, I would maybe recommend this one, but after having played some good ones, this one is unfortunately a major step down.

2-stars are purely for the graphics; the models are very hot and the animations are good.

Unfortunately, the flow of the game is soooooo boring, and the MC is an annoying kid.

From the little I played, there wont be any steamy build up to h-scenes either.

One of my favorite games of all time, almost all the female characters are hot and rendered in high quality.

Main flaw of the game is how grindy it is, and you can't focus on the girls you want without progressing with other girls, or even more frustratingly the "main story".

The main story is very boring and is focused more on guys (ew) and on girls you don't get to progress with which feels like a waste of time.

Caveat - I hated the game when I played it at first because of the "sandbox" mechanic. Then I installed the walkthrough mod, and loved it. The main issue is the lack in built hint system for when you get stuck. And because many event triggers are time and location bound, it really easy to miss or forget where to go.

The production quality is amazing - the renders, music, LIs, and arguably a decent story to tie them together. I'd say with the mod, a must play. Best of all, lots of content and COMPLETE.

Midnight Paradise: The Essay

Can we get a tl;dr version of this? Seriously, the writing it good, but damn do they ramble on at times. I get they're setting things up for a crossover between MP and Dreams of Desire, which I consider to be wholly more entertaining and interesting, but this isn't listed as a VN, let's keep it that way.

Now, writing aside, the scenes, CGs, and models used here are pretty peak. Mother is a MILF, aunt is a rich slut, older sister is a gym freak, younger sister is a "correction required" brat, the maid is a loyal cock koozie, and your teacher is a closet pervert. You work on them to earn their love, unlock their perverted natures, and fuck them all before you proceed down the strangely expanding story that starts out with a college dropout and ends with a mafia boss.

The part that lacks is the gameplay, in a big way, this feels so close to a visual novel. There needs to be more to do to fill in the time between story progression and sexy moments, repeatable things to earn option content or may extras. Like in DoD you can unlock outfits, full on changing certain CGs, but here the only thing you can do is have the girls weirdly walk around in less clothing like it's normal for your mom to be buck naked around her horny son and sexless husband. More immersion breaking than if she was wearing a sexy dress, or a revealing bikini. (there is a pool right there)

Now I do want to say I am excited to see a return of shadow man and wincest boy, and I also liked how you can have a couple ways to end things here, but I think less dialogue would be better. Say more, by saying less.

I've read a few reviews and I can understand the criticisms, but my god, I loved Midnight Paradise! I think a lot of it has to do with the game ticking all the right boxes from me personally and I your mileage may vary.
1. Slim figures and proportionate boobs/ass
2. Gorgeous models and animations
3. Pretty hands and feet - this is very important for me and that's why it's not part of point 2
4. Foot fetish paradise
5. Slow build up to each relationship with average (but not bad) writing

I am willing to compromise on a lot of other stuff because of the above, from an LI perspective. But having said that, I do have some criticisms:

1. Eliana is criminally underused - so much lost potential
2. Plot starts well, then goes nowhere, and completely fumbles the ending
3. A common complaint: sandbox sections with the LIs are disconnected from their main relationshiop progression, and even the individual sandbox activities are disconnected from each other. Very bizarre and a waste of the dev's effort.

I played the game with the walkthrough mod, and I'd recommend this as the way to go.

Overall, great LIs, stunning models and animations, decent enough writing and structure.

A nice game with good graphics. I particularly liked, that the MILFs have pubic hair (which is rare at this time), but still they look too clean and young, to really enjoy them as MILFs.
As always in this kind of games, it sucks, that every action you make, even when you just talk, skips the time and you sometimes have to wait a whole week, to get the right time, with the right day, to continue.
There is a lot of grinding, and it's annoying to get the girls far enough, to choose their clothing. A cheatmod, to set their mood would be very helpful!

But I enjoyed the playing. The story isn't great, but where is it in games like that? The characters look good, but their personalities are hollow. I skipped most of the foot fetish.

This is an incest game centered around a protagonist named Connor, a college dropout who is selfish, irresponsible, and moronic. The whole premise is that he wants to turn over a new leaf and be a better person. This, unfortunately, does not happen when you reach the end of the game. He only improves by inches. It's a darn shame that the game's main character is not Connor's father or his twin brother, both of which are way more responsible and intelligent. Usually, Connor is the type of character you see in an adult game as the stupid "rival" character whom you defeat. The way Connor goes about being a better person is continuing to break the law, continuing to not take responsibility for a lot of horrible actions, and being a creep. It's pretty much hypocritical when he calls out certain family members of their shortcomings when he exhibits the same shortcomings throughout the entire story. It's poetic how his father says "You would have done the same thing as me." which is exactly true. Once again, the father and the twin brother are the more interesting characters in this story. Instead of rising to be a better person, Connor is really just magically helped by many other people who do all the work for him which leaves for little personal growth.

The game is a sandbox so expect to click around a lot and grind a lot. Oddly enough, it's way less of a grind to complete the main quests of each of the women than doing all their side content. This game used to not have a calendar system which made progression a nightmare. At least now, you can see where each of the main girls are located and which ones will advance new scenes. But even so, this takes a while because of the whole time and week system as certain scenes can only progress at certain days and times. Overall, you're playing a huge, moronic slut with plenty of unavoidable sex scenes. The only good thing about this game is the render quality.

I think I’m one of the few who prefers this game over DOD. Both are great games, well-developed despite a few minor flaws.

Pros:

• Models: The character models are undoubtedly among the best out there. Joyce, Isabell, Ruby, and even characters like Thorme look fantastic.
• Renders: The renders are excellent. Sure, there are a few scenes that feel a bit clunky or poorly executed, but overall, the renders are top-notch.
• Story: I found the story engaging enough, simple but effective. It’s not on the same level as DOD, but it does a great job of creating atmosphere and tension. However, some parts feel a bit rushed. The ending leaves a lot of room for hope... I really think and hope there will be a third game.
• The Main Character: Unlike many others, I actually liked Connor. Yes, he’s a jerk, but he’s well-written and far more coherent than most main characters in this genre. He’s not the typical loser who inexplicably wins everyone over.

Cons:

• Character Development: Many characters aren’t poorly written per se, but they are quite flat and lack real personality.
• Rushed Conclusion: Several characters weren’t given a proper resolution, leaving us with little to no material, which is a shame.

In essence, it’s a good game, but it’s evident that the creator wrapped it up hastily. It’s not a five-star game, but with a bit more story organization and a few other minor improvements, it certainly could have been.

I'd say this is a decent but not fantastic game, sometimes very grindy.

The main girls are pretty hot and fun to hang around, it's not very deep and touching but fun, and the sex scenes are pretty hot.
The girls never properly cross each others paths into a real harem until the ending which was disappointing.
I would've liked to see them going "WTH you are also banging her? I thought what we had was special!!!" and then having to calm them down for some family bonding time...

The main story is whatever... the game spends most of it's time in relationship building and the main quest becames the boring thing you do, and barely remember, after going on a date.
And the at some point the game suddenly asks "do you wanna finish the main story?" Sure, i guess so.

Again, this game is good, better than a guilty pleasure, well worth a shot... but not fantastic.

Slow burn sandbox corruption game with beautiful love interests.

Pros

• Excellent renders
• Excellent character models overall
• Beautiful love interests
• Decent MC
• Above average writing
• Above average sex scenes (most)
• Good English
• Good character development (although slow)
• Helpful schedule system (without this the game would be too frustrating to play)

Cons

• Females are generally larger than the MC and most males in the game. Lots of authors have this problem for some reason. Large boned females and small boned males. In real life, males are generally 15% - 25% larger than females.
• The MC is supposedly enrolled in school but never has to attend. Tutoring is all that's required.
• Too much repetition to advance storylines and character relationships! I would have removed all repetition and moved things along at a faster more reasonable pace.
• Game becomes boring at times due to the endless clicking and repetition. If you're going to do a slow burn story, you have to keep things fresh and interesting, which it often isn't.
• Out of place progression with Isabel. Early in the game the author allows the MC to grope her naked breasts and suck on her nipples. The game then takes several months to get back to this point and you end up doing less intimate things with Isabel for at least two whole months before you arrive at the earlier intimacy level.
• Story paths feel disjoined and half missing. The detective storyline with Thorne gets put on ice for 90% of the game. You do some things with Thorne at the beginning of the game and at the end. The Russian mob storyline has the same problem. It starts in the middle of the story and then gets mostly forgotten.
• Some paths feel very light or weak. Examples: Natsuko, Celine, Amy. So much more could have been done with these three characters!
• Rushed/lackluster ending - doesn't feel complete - no ending sex events for the main characters after you finish their stories
• Some characters forget about intimacy progress you've made in the game. One LI even says she can't go any further when you've already had sex with her.
• Animations are smooth but are far too robotic. The author moved the bare minimum body parts in order to create the animations. Facial expressions never change, mouths and lips never move, eye contact never changes. All these problems make the animations feel emotionless as if the characters were heavily stoned while performing them. I applaud the effort but the animations are very average due to being too robotic and stiff.
• The author struggles writing sex scenes. Everyone is tight, including your mother who gave birth to three children. It took me so far out of immersion the dozen times the MC congratulated his mother on how tight her pussy was! Everyone's pussy is tight, everyone's pussy is dripping wet, all females orgasm at the slightest touch of the MC.
• Lots of boring dialog that should have been condensed. Inner dialog is overdone and excessive.

The sandbox portion of the game slows the story to a crawl. It's a lesson in patience. There was no need to repeat events, watching content you've already experienced a 2nd or 3rd time.

Too many story arcs feel empty or half finished - Natsuko, Celine, Amy, Thorne, and Tanya. I was so disappointed when I got to the end of the game and realized that these storylines are very thin/incomplete.

It's a 3.5 star game but I can't give it that rating. I'm being generous in giving the game a 4 star rating (rounding up).

I generally like sandbox games, but this was clunky. The MC moves back home after flunking out of uni and has to go to the local school. Yet he doesn't do anything there except for tutoring - and those are painful awkward interactions in my opinion.
The job story just died off. You go from criming for a "lawyer" then working with the Russian mob....then nothing. For days. No interactions at all . And with that I'm done

The quality of renders and animation is A-tier, but the overall experience is not that great. First of all, I'm not a fan of sandbox. But I can still enjoy a sandbox game (with mods and walkthroughs). But I feel the storyline with the main plot and the girls feels so disconnected with the sandbox elements in this game. You can do something with a girl in a main event, then go to a sandbox event and they talk like the main event never happened. It makes the flow of the game so off. Still a fun game, but I found myself so extremely bored at times, that it's hard to rate the game.

The teasing in this game is so boring, none of the the main girls have sex with you until waaaay later. it's so stupid when you have multiple girls rubbing genitals together with you, but no one wants to have sex. It feels very formulaic. I only gave it a high grade because of the overall quality of the game.
Also, there is way to much inner dialog. I like it when the MC has a personality, but I think inner dialog should be used rarely.

E: I am not a big fan of degeneration (name calling, domination, spanking, and stuff like that), and I wasn't gonna bring it up because it's my personal preference. I'm not gonna rate a game poorly because it doesn't meet my fetishes. But the MC is a dirtbag who has no problem raping his friends/family in their sleep, but then starts to stutter and get nervous when they want to have sex with him. It makes no sense. there is just so much inconsistency that I rated it a 3 star, instead of 4.

Springing NTR rape on the player 75% of the way through the game is pretty awful, especially since it becomes repeatedly referenced afterwards and it's so poorly written. Really ruined my favorite character.

Dialogue is repetitive and stretches far too long.

Way too much foot stuff/anal and no way to just flat out turn off the foot stuff.

I won't give it a 1 star just because the models look good and the pacing was solid.
