Dev said her story sex scene won't be in the final update, so sometime before that. I assume the version after the next version. Maybe earlier in Elite but I don't know the scenes for the current elite version. I'm eagerly waiting for the story scene anyway since there has been so much build up and tension between them.

Why would you have to play it "every time from (the) beginning"..??

If the last time you played was v.016 or older, now you have to download the newest update, because the developer had to make some changes regarding some "night scenes" as requested by Patreon.
He had to remake the game because of this and that took him a year.
Because of this, old saves will not work with the new updates (v0.17, v0.18, v0.19, or v0.20). You have to start from the beginning with the newest update and make new saves. If you do this you don't have to start every time you want to play.
