Since I had the same problem I tried to do this as well. It didn't helped. It actually broke my save.

Help! I'm stuck in the game. The 'Objectives' menu says that I should meet (Aunt) Sofia in the day at her office, but I don't see it on the map? Can someone please at least tell me what area she has her office? Point me in the right direction, so to speak. Because it's the afternoon in the game, and I never had any issues meeting someone you're supposed to see in the daytime, at afternoon before now, that is.

I get that, but the 'Objectives' says to meet her in the DAY, though. And as you may have gathered, I encountered the same weird problem as the other one here. And maybe it's something the dev should have fixed before marking the game as complete, but here we are. And I'm no idiot when it comes to Ren'Py games, but I usually follow what the game tells me to do. And while it's okay to meet people in the afternoon, when it says to meet them in the day, evening is NOT daytime anymore...

Actually, me (and the other one with the same problem probably, too) have unlocked the tower, but you get busted by your aunt when trying to upgrade the exec key. And then she gives you the whole schtick about how useless it is to try to do what what you were trying to do. And then you get the message, to meet her at the office in the day, but it's nowhere to be found. And I even waited a couple of days after the fact, continuing other objectives. But alas, no dice.

Nevermind, I figured it out on my own. And I also just learned something about this game, but it wasn't a good thing. I basically finished a storyline, but as it looks right now, it doesn't seem to really go anywhere from there. And it brings the question if the rest of the game is going to play out like that. Because if it is, then what's the point of finishing objectives in the first place? But I will return to my previous save before that point, so I at least can replay that scene later down the line. But it does make me vary of the rest of the game though, no doubt.

So I put the file in game -> scripts folder. It was the only file there.
I loaded the save with the choice of who helps you raid the tower, and chose Isa, because that's where the exception was occuring.
The exception still happened.
I closed the game, and in scripts folder, there was now another file, named "story_27.rpyc"
I opened the game again, and tried to load the save again, but then its just blinked me back to the main screen. No error, no message.
I closed the game and deleted both files from scripts, but the save remained broken.
Thankfully, my other saves worked, so it didn't ruin my whole game but that particular save was lost cause.

Naw, that's okay, because if you read my updated post to Vastro, I actually figured it out. And like you said yourself, it in fact does show up in the evening, and thankfully it was there the next day too. And I think it's because Sofia works in the daytime, and is too busy to meet you after that in the day, but she meets you in the daytime the first time, though. But I would say it kinda irks me that you're at the right place and time according to the game, but the event triggers only when it wants to, if you will. And definitely something the dev should have fixed, because there was no message like with the other characters, that you have to wait a certain time period before you can proceed. Or it could be the mod fucking things up, who knows. But I appreciate you responding fairly quickly to me anyway, despite me having figured it out on my own. And I have succeeded with that task now, so it's all good. So thanks, either way.Post your save
