Hey everyone

Just a short dev update.
Midnight Paradise 0.10 release is at the end of this month.
Both Lain and I are working on it.
There are more previews in this post. 2 more scenes with Celine. She's talking to Joyce about a little incident you'll get to see in the 0.10 update. Well, I think they have a lot to talk about!
In the next one, well... I don't think I need to explain too much. I think she looks pretty hot on her knees.
And finally a preview of Isabel. It's one of those new scenes where you can interact with the world and you get a some goodies. In this one you get beautiful Isabel in her swimsuit and a fun little interaction with Connor.

mind, I'm also somewhat 'unhappy' about the slow progress - but perhaps this is just what Dev and Sidekicks need to make the game so juicy!
u guys know how book (and many song) debuts are fantastic and then slowly ebb into a horrible mire of thoughtlessness, repetition and bleb? - well think of Dev as an artist, per se, and fucking rejoice every day u look for the MP update - Dev is offering us quality here!

..unless ofc you're dieing and need to know this game asap b/c of ur moral degenera.... oh.

Honestly it's just an annoying trend. I mean how many adult go through hj>hotdogging>boobjob>bj>....and so on and so on until they start to sleep with each other. If you want those scenes that's fine, but you could easily fit it as extra while also have meaningful changes to their relationship(especially as a sandbox, where you could have extra scenes pop on during odd times of the day. Isn't it the point of making a game a sandbox instead of a vn?).

It's not to say that sex is the only way. But at the same time when something is drugged for way too long, it's start to make less sense. Even more so when you portray the proteg as a playboy who could bang any one they wanted, but yet you never see them sleep with another since the opening of the game. As a story it's just seem as an odd hangup.

Personally, I don't really have a horse in the race. If the dev want to do it this way, it's absolutely fine and hopefully works for them(seem to work so far). It's not like I'm paying them(and they shouldn't worry about my silly views). And I don't really care if they put only bj/hj or whatever till .20+.

I've other games I'm following and I'll enjoy them while seeing how this game develops. If something changes nice, of not I'll have plenty of other way to enjoy my time.

Well nothing wrong with slow progress.But we already have half of the game done.And we have more girls in this game than DOD,but we have not gone all the way even with one of them.If 0.10 doesn't give us a sex with some of the side girls we will be so much behind.Are we really going to wait for last 6 updates for the sex?What that means?There will be like only 1 time with each girl,except the family?

I don't have a problem with the progression being slow, the problem is that most of this games use a formula of 'leveling' and when you reach to 'vaginal' with each main character the game ends, instead of going faster and just repeating and alternating different kinds of sex with the same characters.

You misunderstood, what they want is to have more chances to have different kind of sex positions and scenes. Rather then a different kind of tease/bj/hj and so on.

If the game takes to the late part of the story to start having sex with the characters, you might not be able to explore a lot of it.

But at the same time, I don't know how long the story is going to be. So I'll watch and enjoy the drama in the mean time.

Same, but I want something a bit more exciting. but it's the same thing over and over in this game, and I need something a bit more then a repeat of the same scenes with slight variations. Personally I like to see the characters actually getting closer, it makes a lot of it a lot more fun.

that's why I don't really follow this game update to update. It's a bit too slow for me, but I kinda enjoy reading the comments on the thread.

Do you really think that Lewdlab gonna stick to whatever he said last year or whenever? This dude doesn't know what's his next meal gonna be, let alone how many updates it'll take to finish this game.

And if you compare some updates, like 0.8 versus 0.9 in terms of content, it seems like 0.9 was just to top-off the lackluster 0.8, and it came like a week after.
So i wouldn't say that every update contains a whole episode.
