I think it comes down to people seeing the potential that is being wasted update after update. The character renders are fantastic, the animations are fluid and we know Dr Sin can make a game without meticulously blue-balling the player base by drip-feeding the content because - at least I'd assume - most of us have played Dreams of Desire. I honestly don't remember how much we had to wait for the first sex scene with the main characters in DoD but it sure didn't feel this long. And yes, on release day people "call for a hero" to leak the goods because despite all the disappointment they still want to believe the next update will be different.

I usually don't complain because I haven't given him money since DoD but I can't blame those who do because so far MP has been a letdown for me too. Still a good game compared to your average VN but that isn't saying much.

The first chapter of DoD came out march of 2017 and by november 2018 they had finished the main story, every update after that was for bugfixes/polish, now with MP they released the first build in feb 2019 and more a year a a half later it still doesn't have any real sex scenes. I think the problem with MP is the new format, it's trying to be a more interactive visual novel with the open world map stuff, unlike DoD which was purely story-driven, and this new format affects how the scenes are developed. Instead of writing a straight forward story they have to write a grindy one, hence the unending massage and yoga scenes before any sex actually happens.

Yes. The amount of whining about pace is amazing in a world that includes AWAM. Which if you need to review has been around for 3 years and appears to be on pace to reach the point MP is at in another 2.

Am I happy that we're 11 versions deep and the MC hasn't fucked anything aside from that girl at the start? Nah, not really. But, I am however, grateful for a game generously shared with us by the donors, and a game where the dev has some of the best renders in the business. We may be in for a bit of a wait but based on how DoD went, I'm sure it will be worth it when the moment comes.

Nobody hint that most of the renders now are the same pictures from different angles. This raises the question of even less content being released.
In toilet scene with Ruby dev completely confused renders, and put same pictures with different names. As a result, dude with blue balls doesn't rub sister's pussy, picture is static.


The scene with the assjob is too harsh, like a bad cut. Quality falls, falls, falls...

I think, and I don't want this to be perceived as another "toxic comment" of dissatisfaction - Dr.Sin should hire someone to be responsible for the plot, dialogue and storyboarding scenes. And he himself only deals with the visual part, in which he is undoubtedly very good.
