But this update just has pulled me to the top of mountain and immediately push me down to ground with 2 points:
1. The new appearance of Isabel is kinda old-fashioned to me. She seems like grow more 10 years old in this hairstyle.
2. The nude yoga session of Joyce and Ruby had led my thought to the heavy bonding between mother and daughter, in other words, an incest lesbian action as good as what Ruby and Isabel had been done. But no, nothing happened after some little sweet conversation. Haizzz it actually lets me down.

The only thing I can think about such a bad and short update, is that dev might be preparing something bigger for christmas and didn't want people to wait so much, this was a total waste of time for everyone.

See this more as an update that added some much needed side content and repeatable content a sandbox game does need and setup for when there will be more sex in game with the main girls. It may not be the greatest update now, but the fact dev felt needed to add it now is at least somewhat promising since it means the content for which we need it is getting nearer finally.

Technically, you can have full on sex, just not with any of the main 3 girls. There’s the psycho ex, throwing herself at the MC, and the teacher, which actually was pretty hot, even though I’m not that into dominating her in order to get any action. Would have preferred a more straightforward/romance option with Ms. Jane.

There is no written rule that says a sandbox game needs repeatable scenes. A dev with enough time and resources can make every event in their sandbox be unique with its own story. Repeatable stuff is just the easy way out (which many choose for this reason).

Of course it's very likely a dev isn't able to fill their sandbox with unique events (or at least variant enough to feel like that). Then they shouldn't be making a sandbox. Especially when they already had success with a contained, plot-driven game under their belt.

I like a slow build up game/VN. My favourites include AWAM, JOHN and Midnight Paradise. I love both Joyce and Isabel.
I can understand progression in sex - especially with "landlady" and "roommates" - it's unrealistic for them just to leap into bed with MC.

But with Midnight Paradise the progression with the three main LI's feels particularly formulaic. Start with yoga and massage, then handjob/footjob/assjob/titjjob/blowjob, mixed in with MC going down on LI.....

I just wish we had a bit more variety in it so that we dd nt get that progression in triplicate. It might have helped if the early storyline had given us a reasons why one of the LI's felt closer to the MC and so could have started sex with that character earlier.

Hopefully we don't have too much longer to wait until actual sex with Joyce and/or Isabel.
