What mindset a person needs to have for not finishing the current content, and try to remaster an old, but very nicely made game to begin with supposedly better visual, you barely have enough content with the current game to begin with, come back to reality, PLEASE.
Probably he enjoys rendering stuff and that's why he started making the games, doing a remaster he doesn't need to think about plot and do any awkward creative thinking, just rendering and modeling a product that is already done and probed successful for new public coming, basically, easy money. I'm pretty sure that's the answer.

It's pretty insulting to all of the paying patrons of this game really. Reboot, Rebrand Rejig, Redo etc.

Only occasionally have I seen this where it's beneficial, but most of the time its an excuse to squeeze patrons for more money by a developer who has lost interest. :coffee:

I think you guys are misunderstanding what he's doing. He replaced all the "animations" with actual animations, no longer a 2 frame repeat. Added more scenes to tie things together. My only gripe is there will be no release until the Steam side is handled....

:LUL:I wonder what will happen if MC's brother end up winning the game, gets the company, fucking all the ladies while MC is in the jail for selling drugs. And the developer leaves a message at the end of the game saying "Kids, don't do drugs" along with this meme.

Would not bother because before we arrive that I will be dead due to old age, imagine restarting the progress with night creeping and so on

Jesus christ, what did I miss? This forum has turned to utter chaos. What did the dev do that people are comparing him to Icstor of all people? It's been 2ish months since the last update so surely people on freaking out about the game not updating enough since there are a billion other games that update every 3 or more months, I would even say it's the norm for games to update every 3 months. I must have missed something big.

The Dev did.... nothing. That´s the problem, because nothing at all, not even some feedback

What you are missing is the spillover from the dev's other game Dreams of Desire, which is a completed game, but the dev announced a revamp, the Definitive Edition, of that game with new animations and I believe some endings. The dev announced it at the beginning of the year, and that is why the updates for this game have slowed to a crawl when he was releasing like every month or 2 last year.

As you can see here, there has been one update for this game in six months because most of his time has supposedly been going towards the Definitive Edition of Dreams of Desire. The problem has been a lack of clarity about where the definitive edition is in terms of completion and release, as well as the lack of updates for this game.

Hey everyone

It's been a while!
Well, I've been busy af lately. My schedule will get better and better from now on (I mentioned I have some things going on in my private life that need a lot of attention a few posts back).

And of course I'm working on the new scenes for DoD:DE, as you can see from the little previews in the post.

I was like - I'm going to make some short but sweet scenes... Well, as usual, I ended up with things like the dinner scene, which is 66 renders long and has 18 animations, with a variety of fetishes and action for everyone.
So from now on I'll try to make it brief and not create giant scenes because I know you're all waiting for DoD:DE and for me to return to MP as soon as possible.

From this point forward in the post there will be some spoilers about Dreams of Desire's story, so if you haven't finished the game yet, proceed at your own risk.

In these previews you see the scenes that come after the endings. If you get Tracy's ending, you'll be able to spend some quality time with her in a romantic setting, but I don't want to spoil the whole thing. You'll have plenty of options with her.
Right now the most difficult character to deal with is Alice. She's affected by the reworked 'endgame' scenes, because I felt the revelation was weak compared to the rest of the game. Looks like I'll completely scrap the last warehouse scenes too and make something else - or reword that scene completely. I feel like that was rushed and clunky, so hopefully the new version will be a better experience.

In the poll where I asked you guys if you want more ending content or more in the middle of the game type of content, it was in favor of both. Well, I should have expected that:)
So there are some short scenes that can be added into the middle of the game and they won't disturb the story.
Oh and by the way, I really liked your comments on the last post about the type of content you'd like to see. I can't promise all of them in DoD:DE, but if it doesn't make it in that, it might make it into Midnight Paradise.
That's all for now and I'll try to be less silent and more active with posts.

And as always, thank you for your great support!
-Dr Sin

So not a single word about work progress, steam, or release dates :cautious:

Just some desktop wallpapers, Dr Sin is gonna give the dev of Come Inside a run for his money soon.
