I'm pretty sure you are underestimating the degree to which many players hate this kind of content. Especially because these decisions usually make noone happy. Those players who hate that kind of content won't touch the game with a bargepole anyway, while those who actually like it won't be satisfied because it's just a scene or two and nothing "really bad" happens. It's literally the worst of both worlds.

Honestly, it feels like the update was written for Ruby storywise - she is a virgin who acts and dresses extremely provocatively, is drinking in nightclub alone and has submission and love paths.

The initial scene is unavoidable since it's part of the story I guess, but what happens during that scene is.

Odd choice of direction for this partucular dev decided to go in. I guess he got sick of all of his fans and their preffered content and decided to court the more niche fans with NTR...ish content. Just feels like an odd detour for one of the better devs to actively try to push away his more loyal supporters.
If its just a way to introduce a LI to a more hardcore fetish it would easy enough to have her watching some BDSM porn while getting turned on and avoid unecessary drama just for the sake of unecessary drama.

Bit far afield of the current raging ntr/etc discussion, what's the soundtrack that plays during the main menu? It absolutely slaps imo, like really catchy. Is it some non-copyrighted track I'm guessing, off soundcloud/youtube?
Back to the update, definitely did not feel like even a month's time of work let alone the 3 month+ gap there's been. :/ Sadge. Finally some sex scenes though, I guess there's a win here somewhere.
Edit: forgot to ask, someone mentioned earlier he realises the bug where the lust options unlock the 'love' sex scene and vice versa for the 'lust' sex scene. Is it being fixed and a new version coming to his patreon (I'm assuming if he's acknowledged it)?

Not technically into the NTR realm "yet" but it would seem the game is heading in that direction for now. Could be a one-off event but who really knows at this point...
