I kinda do understand the frustration of the people when the game has been going on for three and a half years already, yet it has such a small amount of actual sexual content in it and the story hasn't really developed to anywhere at all. The developer is adding stuff to the game at the middle of the development process that he could literally add after he has actually finished the game itself, which is prolonging the whole project even longer now. Adding the frustration for the people is his communication that is at the ICSTOR level with all the radio silence and excuses that he comes up with. This game should've been finished during 2021 already, yet it hasn't even properly started yet.

You don't need to dislike the game to see the obvious flaws in both the development process and the behaviour of the developer himself. In fact if the game would be trash, people wouldn't even be frustrated with this current state as they wouldn't care for the game at all. This game has lots of potential in it, but all that potential is now wasted in the hands of Dr. Sin, who clearly doesn't have the same passion for this project anymore that he still had two years ago. So people comparing him to ICSTOR isn't too far reach currently.

"communication that is at the ICSTOR level" is not correct. ICSTOR stays silent for years. This development, with all his problems, is at worst silent for a number of months. Not comparable.

The game has real problems that you can criticize it for. There is no reason to invent problems/bring up the worst examples.

”ICSTOR stays silent for years” statement isn’t correct by the way, if you try to be a smart ass then at least try to do it properly. Dr. Sin has EXACTLY the same pattern as ICSTOR had in his communication when he was still pretending to be doing something with his games, few months silence and then an excuse post. So totally comparable and denying it won’t change that fact to anything else. Nothing is made up here, as the writing is CLEARLY and provably on the wall, has been well over a year now.

Someone could also say ”nice alter account you have there Dr. Sin!” to this message. ;)

If you're looking for me to be a fan of Dr. Sin's, you're clearly barking up the wrong tree. "smartass" seems to be a weird insult in a polite conversation. I merely corrected your obvious mistake. ICSTOR "stays silent for years" by not providing real updates. Dr. Sin does provide updates, even if they're not to your liking. And he very obviously communicates more than IC (although even that's not really saying much). There is no comparison between him and Dr. Sin.

Directions:
Extract in the same folder where MidnightParadise.exe is located, overwrite files if asked.
If you came from Lain's Mod from 0.14 or earlier then it is highly recommended to Start a New Game to ensure no issues.
When you Start a New Game, select Yes when it asks you if this is your first time playing the game.

If you mix up updates as "communication" when the talk was clearly only about devlogs/posts about development, then that's obviously on you. There still is comparison and strong similarity with ICSTOR when he was pretending to be doing these games that is undeniable.

I'm not even upset about the updates, never have been. And, I've supported him on Patreon. This Dev is the one who got me attracted to these games. I guess I have more patience than the average joe.. Then again, I was also married for almost 10 years, so I know how to deal with a serious case of broadband blue balls.

I haven't been following, but I do see we have the "broken PC" story. Have we had the "medical problems" story out of the dev yet?

I think we already had medical problems, burn out, coder quiting and long search for a new one, remaster of an old game, now a broken pc. What is there left to check on the milking bingo chart? :KEK:
