From the last updates (#49 to #51) we know that there were 15 completed tasks (going from 116 remaining to 101).
So, with simple math and assuming that the work is proportional over time, we will need to wait another 13.5 weeks for the tasks to reach zero (as the average is 7.5 tasks tackled per week) and get the 0.17 release.
This is going to be the week of November 14th.

Indeed, but, besides all the setbacks and slow pace, he again was reworking the game from the start putting all these random sandbox events. These take much more time to implement than it takes to render them. Now it seems he's is mostly doing the renders. All I know, if this was the pace done BEFORE stopping for DOD Rework and all the rest, it would have been great.
Anyway, I'm not in a hurry, I'm re-playing BaDik with all the paths, just finished chapter 1, and also the whole DMD games, still mid of Part 2. Broken Dreamers first run is also slow paced right now.

She can be killed off, and her screen time could be given for Isa and Ruby.
We'll see if Joyce is finally banged for the first time in v0.18 or in v0.19, I don't think this is going to be delayed more.
