I would argue this one was still top tier in those departments too but this was before whole this milking process. Milfy City really feels old though.

Honestly wouldn’t surprise me. If you have a cash cow and make tons of money regardless of how much or how little content you put out, might as well spend all your time trying to make another one under a different name.

If making wallpapers is considered work then he's still working on it but if not then it's abandoned abandoned.
I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. The game hasn't been updated for 3 years.

I think they are remaking/reworking on the game to not get troubled by patreon's ToS. They are going to add phone so you can message and look at pictures of the girls. Also they are removing the night scenes beucause of the ToS. But it's been so long since he and his team released an update. Because of these reasons people think they are actually milking it and they might be right. We've seen couple screenshots from the upcoming update and that's it.

How do you know that he's reworking the game to comply with Patreon's ToS? He hasn't posted a dev report or said anything publicly all he does is post wallpapers and sneak peeks.

Look at it this way.
There are two facts weighing against eachother on each side of a balance.
1) The developer claims almost angrily that he works hard, so hard people can't even imagine.
2) The title hasn't seen an update for a year now.
Draw your own conclusion which fact of the two is solid and which is just empty talk.
Alternatively, wait for the next update (lets just assume it will come) and decide yourself if that update warrants this one year long development time. If yes. The dev worked hard. If not, he is just bullshitting. If we get a perfectly normal sized regular update that we have seen in the past, it was just bullshit through and through since those took a couple months in the past = It taking a year is proving he wasn't working on it at all, let alone hard.
If it delivers content that is around half the size in terms of renders and plot progression that is already in the game? He genuinely worked hard.
Me personally, i draw my own conclusions a long time ago. (It isn't the hard-at-work candyfloss scenario
).

If you check the discord, Lewdlab himself said patreon reached them out and talked about the nightscenes and said the patreon staff played the game and found out nightscenes are against their ToS. Also he was talking about adding phone content to the game so all things consider this could be a pretty good excuse to rework on the game.
