What the hell happed in the latest update? The last one was a masterpiece, Ruby became my sub. She belongs to me. She sucked on her butt plug because I told her to.

This update, she's mouthing off and asking her to show me her feet if it doesn't make her too uncomfortable. WTF? It feels like half of my relationships took a HUGE step backwards, and the dialogue seems...off...

basuically the sandbox events are disconnected from the actual story stuff so if you do a bunch of the story quest first the sandbox scene don't really make much sense afterwards

Each sandbox event should thoughtfully get enabled after reaching a specific moment in the story. This way both journeys will be correctly synced and wont kill the immersion.

i think some do (haven't gone through the entire sandbox events code tho) problem is that still won't solve the issue of people doing all story first then doing sandbox events (cause you will be at level 1 still for that sandbox event despite completing all the story stuff for said girl)

so to make it completely synced you'd have to lock story content to sandbox event level, but then you just get a bunch of people complaining the game is grindy and etc. its setup the way it is now so people can completely ignore the sandbox event stuff if they really want to and just play only the story stuff

But that's the case. You can't do in sandbox, something you never did in the story.

But you can skip sandbox stuff and go further in the story, and when you return to the sandbox later, the content is desynced.

Yeah... Haven't thought of that scenario. I guess you can't lock it, but there should be a way of highlighting/letting the user know about new events getting unlocked after reaching certain points in story, that way you could do those events before continuing with the story and play in a correct character progression.

Is Eliana totally dropped out of the game or what? Throughout game her last objectives are finished pretty early and in change logs last time her name was mentioned was in v0.6 - Remake.
If that is the case is a shame to drop LI that helped him regardles in what sort of trouble he was in.

I guess that makes sense. This is a prime example of why I dislike the sandbox game format. The actual story and events are really well written, but it's really jarring when you go from the girl saying "so you basically own me. Like, if you wanted to fuck me whenever...you could just do that" and then the very next night they're all awkward together and the guy is all nervous about asking to see her feet. Kills the immersion.

It's just a guess, but i think sandbox scenes are better and makes more sense if you play it between a main story/gilrs event since progress with a girl in the main story is what unlock new sandbox scenes. For example: play a event in Ruby's story, then play all the sandbox scenes until the game tells you need progress Ruby's story to unlock new sandbox scenes, then play a new event in Ruby's story to progress with their relationship, then play the new sandbox scenes that were unlocked after play this event and so on.
I did that in 0.17 and the flow feels more "natural"

That's typically how I do it. But they just added some new scenes that only make sense if they were triggered earlier in your progression.

the calendar already does that,, do all of the events that have "purple text" once done do the storystuff if anything unlocked you'll have more text in the calendar thats purple,

Purple = new event
White = event can still give points ( but nothing new)
Grey = nothing new and no point gains

they are trigger early in the story, however they were just added to the game so of course if your already at the end of story content its going to be a bit weird. Or would you guys perfer the dev to stop all progress on the story content right now and only focus on the sandbox events so it all catch up with the story stuff first?

Or is it better the way hes doing now continuing the story while also adding optional scenes (remember all the sandbox stuff is 100% optional and can be avoided)

I realize there is a mod that lets you change the character's name but it only goes so far as in some of the scenes when the girls are stuttering the name, the first couple of letters are of Connor's name. Does anyone know if the dev has plans to let you change MC's name on release and this is just a placeholder name?

Isabel's progress now is 5/5. How can I make it 5/10?
Walkthrough is useless to me because it induces me to play in order.

If you mean her affection just check her events i bet there's something new as well as repeat some of the events when she's home
