well wasn't as bad update as it could been, had funny moments (plenty) and some sex, not that oddly can continue doing calendar events and unlock new scenes but points stay same so no use to do those.

Two things might have gone wrong:
- the app is quarantined by Gatekeeper because it's from an unknown developer;
- the executable inside the app might have lost its execute permission during unzipping
To remove the quarantine, type "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine " and drag the app again into the window. Hit enter. Quarantine should now be removed.
To check the second case, you need to look into the contents of the app: right click on the MidnightParadise app and pick Show package contents. Navigate to /Contents/MacOS/. Inside that folder you'll see a file MidnightParadise. That file should be a Unix executable. If it's anything else, it has lost its execute permission.
To fix this, start Terminal and type "chmod a+x " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the MidnightParadise file inside the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Again mind there is a space between the command and the path. Hit enter. The file should now be executable.
As a general precaution, make a duplicate of the app first before changing its attributes or permissions.
So is some hero going to Android this bad boy? Someone posted a link to one five or six pages back but that site looked sketchy as hell. Has anyone else actually downloaded from that link?

He was working on the game since July 2018.Took him more than half year to produce first update that can't be even called a demo.

Not really people only complain about content they want that isn't in the game so if people already have their content they don't complain ergo less posts just becuase you see posts about the Mom alot doesn't means that they are the majority of people/players in fact the nature of forums is the most vocal complainers is usually the minority basically if people don't have something to complain about the vast majiorty don't make a post.
think of like leaving a review for a food place you just ate at most people don't give two shits to make a review unless A, The service was so bad and tremble or B, the service was so great and beyond anything normally expected but even then the majority of people don't even bother to leave a review at all cause they can't be bothered which means you end up with more complaints then good reviews its the nature of humans we are mostly only very vocal when you piss us off other then that if we're content we just go on a way with no fuss
