Hey everyone
I wanna talk a little bit about Midnight Paradise's upcoming 0.25 update - The Joyce Update.
In this one we'll get to a point in Joyce's story you've all been waiting for. I'm making scenes with well over 100 renders for this (actually, one almost got to 200). I'm getting a bit carried away with them but it feels right.
You will have many choices to make in this update which will contribute to one of Joyce's 2 paths. One being as you probably guessed the Love Route - all the main girls have this one.
Then there is what we call internally the Freeuse Route.
As it is the case with Isa and Ruby, the route you choose will influence the scenes you get moving forward, will influence the endings available to you and also dictate the sandbox end-game content.
You'll take Joyce on a weekend getaway, a trip where there won't be interference from anyone and you'll be able to enjoy each others' company fully, without distractions of day to day life.
The update will feature some surprises but I won't spoil the story any more than this.
Aside from the story progression, I also mentioned in my previous post the update to the UI when you get points on the characters' routes and the affection points, we are also adding a codex screen into the game where you'll be able to see notes/information about the characters, their stats and your route progress.
The update is coming at the end of this month.

The pacing is good if you are like me and recently discovered this VN, it's a well done corruption title overall. However I see this VN was started back in 2019 and if I had of started playing it way back then, I'm sure my opinion would be different.
I'm right there with you and hoping Joyce finally decides she is ready, but imagine the poor SOB's that have been waiting since 2019 for some action!
