Every so often, it's worth remembering that not everyone has the same opinion as you. Comments like "everyone knows" and "nobody likes" etc., are rarely accurate. And people are free to support whoever and whatever they like, for whatever reason they like. You don't have to understand their reasons for it.

(To pre-empt some of the usual responses, no, I'm not licking the arse of the dev, I am not a die-hard paid supporter, I'm just someone who enjoys this game and is bored of just hearing the same old "dev is a lazy milker" comments (here and on many other games) any time there is a delay between updates. It would be nice to see the game thread being used to discuss the game, rather than to attack the dev and/or the dev's actual supporters.)
Just because you dont like it, doesnt mean its not true, and pretend this problem doesnt exist will only make it worse, so yes, there are many devs who are "lazy milkers" and even If it turns repetitive people should keep adressing this anyway, not all devs are like that, there are great ones like "Dr.pinkcake" and "Boring Games", but you cant blame people for perceiving the majority of them like that, when we have games with 7-8 years old, with half the content of other games that are 3-4 years, yout"re not wrong on thinking this is annoying, it is, but there is a reason

This completely ignores every possibility but one - that one being that the only reason games get delayed is because the devs want more money, which they can get by deliberately stringing things out. I'd say that's more a "mindset of people like you" thing.

How about, instead, consider that a dev gets more supporters, more money coming in, he feels added pressure to make his game perfect so he doesn't let those supporters down, and he takes more time to make it as good as possible, which stretches the release timetable. Or he uses the extra money to fund additional resources, that allow him to add more to the game and make it closer to perfect, but by adding more or improving renders, for instance, it takes more time. Or real life gets in the way and slows things down unavoidably, because devs are real people too, and they probably have families, jobs, education, etc. Or... maybe you get the picture, maybe you don't, but what I'm trying to say is there are so many reasons why something like this can be delayed.

Sure, there are probably some devs who genuinely do delay things with the intention of getting a bit more money from their supporters, but I highly doubt that is the majority. I suspect most would be well aware of the assumptions that are always made, and the anger that is always levied at them, and would realise that it's not in their best interests to be what you'll call a "milker".

This dev? I have no idea about. I don't know any devs personally, so I can't say what side of any hypothetical coin they fall on. I'm just trying to give the benefit of the doubt, rather than immediately jumping on the bandwagon of "game is delayed, the dev is doing it deliberately, get your pitchforks out!"
Your last sentence is the exact reason I and other people mention it. This dev is lazy af and has shown time and time again that he just promises and doesn't deliver (see e.g. the DOD "remake" and past updates of this game), so for him and others like ICSTOR, there is no benefit of the doubt anymore.

People keep giving him money while he just trolls them and from the response of the other guy, its pretty clear why it works and to some degree, I applaud Lewdlab for it cause who doesn't like free money.

Why doesn't Patreon write their own AVN's if they're so interested in influencing/editing others'?
My theory is that some ADM on patreon is a fan of these games and got tired of the devs bullshit and are doing this just to keep them in check, you can see that this only happen with a select group of devs, like BG the dev of "shut up and dance" the core of his VN story is mind-control so a lot of "non consensual" stuff and he never got trouble, has constant updates and a good schedule

Why does it cost him so much, release the update, if him already have the month paid, the previous months paid, the problem is between Patreon and Lewdlab, right?

Any dev with a fraction of sense isn't allowing a host site to stand between them and their monies. This dude loves to stall, we can only assume he is still pocketing monthlies from his subs or else he would've found an alternative solution. With the games considerable following, why he hasn't chosen another option is "curious" bordering on suspect. Poverty is a fine motivator and this guy is in absolutely no hurry to remedy the situation.

How much you wanna bet he was never going to have Joyce as an option in this update, and it was all a tease. And suddenly he'll tell everyone that Patreon told him to remove the sex with Joyce. Then when he releases the update, it won't be an option, and he'll have trolled everyone.
That would hurt his wallet .. Not sure if he thinks like that.. It's likely Pateron being dicks.

Payouts don't work like that, and when your account is under review it's frozen, if it is removed all that money goes back to the people who subbed.
