I noticed this too when i saved by the bedrooms at night time then reloaded it put me in the living room at daytime.

Pretty disappointed in the change to unity, but I see thats already been covered. Anyways, I can't seem to get to any content. I got a weird black diagonal line cutting through the scene after the animations in the bathroom in the beginning, and the game is basically frozen as the MC arrives home and is confronted by the "landlord". A cursor pops up like I need to click something yet there is nothing to click on. Restarted a few times at different resolutions thinking that was the problem to no avail.
I'll probably sleep on this one. I'll wait until it's completely finished and give it another shot. DoD basically got me into enjoying VN's. Hopefully he can find enough workarounds in unity, and if his patrons are anything like this thread maybe he'll get enough feedback to program it so it isn't such a big deal. (Put in a rollback system, ways to save/skip/etc)

Whatever a player's valid arguments against Unity might be - hardware cannot be one. I have a 10 years old laptop with 4 GB and the most actual graphic driver and this game is running smoothly even with the best graphic quality, at least in window mode.
It's not that simple with games that have uncapped frame rate, if you play on the lowest graphics settings (fast or fastest), then the game will update as fast as your graphics card can handle, to maximize FPS. If your CPU is not up to speed with your graphics card, it's gonna eat up your CPU. Thats why you need to either enable vsync or have some sort of frame cap. This can happen with high end graphics where your cpu is the bottleneck.

Unity? Well, if someone would make an UnUnity that would do what UnRen does for Ren'Py, I would be ecstatic over that engine. Personally, the first thing I do after downloading, is check out the images to see what's been changed. Then I enable the Developer Menu so I can view the Variables while I play. Maybe do a force rollback or skip, depending.
But, that's just me.
If Dr.Sin fixes the UI problems with saves, rollbacks, etc., and delivers the walkthroughs like he did with Dreams of Desire, I will be more than happy to play this game. As many have already noted, the girls are outstanding, and the animations are first rate! [Remember those crude animations that accompanied the early releases of DOD? ECCH!]
So, I like the way the plot is unfolding, and look forward with great interest to the next release.
But, that's just me.

Hi There:
I suggest you start again but first wipe out all data associated with your previous saves. Go to
c:\users/your username/Appdata/LocalLow/LewdLab/MidnighParadise and delete all files. These are the saves.
Start a new game but this time if you are like me and click fast to advance the dialogue click slowly and hopefully you will be fine. I had to slow my clicks right down from my usual clickfest for Renpy games.

so..i look at the splash image..see the title..in my mind the words"Club: Dub Edition" gets added because of that car..so am disappointed when i try the game and its just porn..titties and such..no racing at all (HAHAHA..you know i'm kidding)(puts his wheel and pedals away....)

my god this is another level of rendering love it. IMO there is only one game that has incredible rendering and that is timestamps, and now this my hyped about this game, the animations are best that i have seen please don't let the people down with this game keep up the great work.

I assume you are playing on a PC. Did you delete your old save. If not try again. If this does not help, perhaps re-download the game.
