Nah, they are saying around 2 hours, maybe less. They had a last second issues I'm assuming.
For anyone curious saves will carry over if you get it on Steam.

Do you know what's being said on Discord? Has the Elite tier gotten some version of it already?

That was from Discord and so is this.
No, everyone gets it the exact same time and same version now. Steam will be the Extra version (so not sure) and Patreon/SS will still have Elite (which are those bonus scenes that are not part of the story).
And they needed more time.

It is a few posts up, it was supposed to come out at 3PM EST, but there was a delay, and the post above says 2 hours from my post maybe less.

For Mac this isn't a problem. The actual game files are the same as for Windows, so it's easy to DIY and build a Mac version. See this post to get started https://f95zone.to/threads/midnight-paradise-v0-26-elite-lewdlab.25081/post-15000052.
Maybe because people from some countries can't. In my country for example, lewd games are banned on steam. So there is no steam page where you could look that up.

So, for everyone wondering about Steam, just a word of warning, I mean it probably doesn't matter for some folks.
Steam will be the "extra" version, and Patreon/SubscribeStar will be the "elite" version. Elite has the non-cannon special gallery scenes. I think DoD (Dream of Desire) was the same way.

There is but the next update is just a sandbox update adding in some more sex scenes between, then DLC probably a year from now. But the story is done.
Steam is $16 no clue if DLC comes with that I doubt it and will be probably a year from now, and you don't have to pay for the next update, and Elite is $40 but those scenes are non-canon and have nothing to do with the story.
If you want to own it, well saves are fine between both so, you can always just pirate the elite for the elite gallery scenes
