I'm definitely into the characters, particularly the GILF. However, how in the blue fuck does he not give an update on the Midnight Paradise sandbox update? Has any work been done?

He announced it on Patreon, he won't come out and say that.
It's obviously probably will be considering all of his games have. And this is probably Mom/Daughter.
He did at the bottom of the devlog.
The sandbox update was the next update coming, and he was just doing prep work for the other game, so he was working on both, since he says "full steam" ahead.

Hey everyone,
I'm happy to announce our new game: Sunset Rose!
It always takes a a long time to prepare a new game project for production. (Maybe that's why there are a lot of never ending games)
There are many new things happening behind the scenes!
So first of all, I talked about Project Aurora in a previous post. This is not that.
Sunset Rose is a new game that will feature Daniela (the blonde girl) and Catalina (the MILF) as the two main female characters.
The game will be an advancement on the sandbox type gameplay you know from Midnight Paradise, but it will be a lot more lighthearted and romance oriented game. No drug empire business this time around.
I'm excited to try new ways that are more fun for you and more efficient to make to be able to bring you the best and most amount of content we can!
Now you must be wondering how will I be able to juggle all these projects and the remaining MP content. Thankfully, I won't have to.
More artists have joined the team and I selected them based on their artistic skills on composition and quality. I think you guys will be very happy with the renders they will be making under my guidance for Sunset Rose.
I still take a part of the production and I always will for every game. But, since 90% of my time is consumed by creating the art for the games it's gonna be a lot easier to work on this. I will be taking more of a director role on this project. (I'm sure I won't be able to stop myself and make some juicy stuff with these two hot new ladies from time to time though)
I designed the characters myself by the way - it took me quite some time - I hope you like them as much as I do already!
Now that the prep work for Sunset Rose is almost done, I can get back to working on the MP Sandbox update with full steam. In the meantime, the new team members can start working on the first release of Sunset Rose.
I feel happy about having a new game on production at the same time while I'm doing content for Midnight Paradise. These two at the same time will mean more content for you guys more frequently!
And I still have 2 things up my sleeve that will be revealed soon. So stay tuned and thank you for your patience, I really appreciate you all!

Revealing that he hasn't been working on Midnight Paradise full steam, but will now, does not constitute a progress update. A progress update is "I've done X and Y and will now be working on Z; I've made X amount of renders and Y amount of animations; I'm X% done; the update will likely be in late June or early July; I've done the scenes for characters X and will next be working on scenes for character Y." You know, an update on progress as opposed to not that.
I don't get why some people are so pointlessly pedantic.

It isn't like it matters that much; the update is just repeatable scenes, which will probably require a replay or load random saves anyway. He could just say fuck it and not update it anymore and it still in a good completed state. I wasn't expecting the update till summer anyway and maybe one of the DLC's by year end.
Island of Eden and the Wolves Den haven't been talked about at all, and my guess is the 2 things up his sleeve.
What intrigues me is whether this is going to take another five years for any good scene. Because I like Midnight Paradise, but waiting another five years for everything to end without exploring all the possibilities is a definite no for me.

Honestly he should just remake DoD as a sandbox, but I doubt he has the balls to do it because of the night ''molestation'' scenes, which he removed from Midnight like the Patreon sellout he is.

It's sad to see how the developer who became famous because of Mrs. Turner, the milf models are getting worse with each game.
