from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

PSA: I used a fresh save and you should too, older saves might be buggy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The game also has a hidden karma system but as of version 0.6 none of the dialogue options make a difference.
green answer (good) = +1 point
pink answer (neutral) = 0 points
red answer (bad) = -1 point
The colored options are NOT available in v0.6

There's is one known bug in v0.4.1 that will confuse A LOT of people, I've highlighted it in RED
Do NOT mess with console commands in this game or else you might get soft-locked

wow. you are so negative. maybe lewdlab has rl work? maybe family? i don't know. maybe lewdlab has a life apart from creating porn games? maybe the corona virus affected him, or someone close to him? i am not defending his games. all i'm saying is that, there is a reason for everything, and you, most likely, know nothing. and yet you are judging him?

I am definitely being negative.
My judgement isn't based on just what happened last 2 months or so. Might I remind you, this is the same dev that started this game on unity and spent nearly 6 months worth of patreon money just to supposedly learn the engine, despite being advised to continue of ren'py, just so that he could waste more time porting it back to ren'py.

Lewdlab has been developing games for 2+ years now, in that time he's easily earnt more than 200,000 USD. easily.
He said he's got a new office and all that shit. But check the CGs of each update of midnight paradise, there are on average 250-350 images per episode and 10 animations at best. the updates rarely come out once a month.

BTW, I didn't suggest anyone abandon the game or not play it at all. Just suggested that his patreons unsubscribe till he either makes better and longer updates, or he gives up this farce and quits the game without wasting the patreons money any further. If you are ok with him taking advantage to this extent, you have the money to afford to do so, I don't, neither do a lot of people.
Anyway, not like what i said will be done. it won't even reach most of his patreons. and he'll just continue to milk the shit outta them and enjoy drawing around 20K-30K USD a month for making the bare minimum and blueballing us.

If he has problems, let him announce those problems like he has done on multiple occasions in the past and have the courtesy to pause his patreon page and not take money for not doing shit.
