I agree with the sentiment, but the comparison is a bit off the mark. With a waiter/waitress you actually get a service, and if it's poor enough you can go to the manager to complain and usually get some comp meal or something to make up for it. Hell, even buskers/musicians usually have to play or perform first to have people pay them.
But yep, the corollary to the above is why I just pick up releases on F95 for the over-paid dev's who don't put content out very quickly, and sub/tip to the indie's or those on the way up on Patreon who still actually appreciate the support.
The problem with Patreon, is they should adopt a "pay on release" across the board strategy, but if they did that they'd lose millions when people who milk things out like this, and don't produce anything regularly. It would definitely speed people up tho, that's for sure, and actually more closely resemble your waitress/waiter analogy.

This game could be the most awe-inspiring shit heap I've ever seen in modern entertainment. The only thing that compares is that pile of dino dung in Jurassic Park.
Some of the most beautiful girls & renders paired with some of the absolute worst writing I've seen from a major dev. Complete & utter nonsensical plot, it's not even worth explaining how asinine it is as I'm certain several in here have already done that.
How has no one yet discovered that the key to stopping government corruption is shutting down jizz banks? We get those shut down then all of us "adult" "visual" "novel" players are gonna be filthy rich. According to the plot our splooge will be extremely valuable, probably worth more than toilet paper is right now.
I will continue to follow this mess simply because of how great the renders are, the dev's past success with DoD, and I'm desperately hoping there will be a proper sex scene with Eliana and/or the little roommate, Ruby. Yes, roommate. Not sister. And if we ever get a sex scene with any of the main girls I'm sure our room temperature-IQ MC still won't be able to ejaculate properly

Gotta say.. follow this game and enjoy it. Great renders.. decent story.. enjoy the setup. Can some things be changed? Sure, but I don't see anything that NEEDS to be changed. Looking at everything here I've played lately pretty much top tier or just a wee bit below. Definitely in the upper 10%. Two thumbs up.

Pack your bags we're going on a guilt trip. Commerce is based on trust and establishing a reputation. I used to give quite generously until I realized that many of the devs have mental issues and either go into a spiral of depression or on a coke bender and fall off the face of the earth. Ironically the more money that starts pouring in the more likely they are to do this;maybe because it's more access to hookers and blow. I mean ICSTOR is abandoning Milfy City because he's lost interest. Why on earth would I send money when I know that the likelihood of the project going down the drain or being stretched out for months and years on end to milk is very high. There are plenty of people who support devs on f95 but if you've been around long enough you begin to see the pattern. You summed up the patreon problem nicely, I to would much prefer to just pay a lump sum and get a completed product. The patreon model is far to exploitative. If some system could be devised where you could promise/ pledge a sum to developer on completion of project thus guaranteeing that both sides have some protection/ guarantee. Consumers are protected if project is not completed, dev gets his $ if he follows through.
The game is very nice, better than other games that are currently being updated. Does anyone know when the next update comes out.
