It's mostly because those scenes don't fall out of the sky on developers laps, they need to be made first and that is the real problem for most folks here. Waiting a few months just to find out that half of the work went into something that they won't even get to see.
The real culprit here is the development approach with episodic releases, so don't hate the player, hate the game.

He literally means that they have Extra scenes in the extra options of the game where you have your gallery. Just more images and stuff you know the usual bonus stuff.
