saves are stored somewhere else and not just in the folder, besides if you are worried you could just transfer them....

You must be new to Ren'PY games. Saves aren't just stored in the game folder, they are stored in your app data on drive C. So you don't even need to back them up, just download the new version of a game and the saves will be present in the game, no need to do anything at all.

1. saves are compatible between versions.
2. you don't lose saves even if you delete pre-0.9 version unless you formatted main drive and reinstalled os after completing older version, in that case you need to copy saves-folder from old version to 0.9.
More yoga, that's what everyone was waiting for. Definitely nobody getting bored from the 5th variation of the same scene.

When he first told us about the delay, it din't sound like it was by much. I din't expect ½ month or worse, I'm pretty disappointed, was hoping he would continue the good results...

I think more likely 0.12 and 0.13.After all the game will have 9 more updates.Unless he decide to add some more.
The scenes with side/secondary girls are even less worthy.
Still we are making some good progress with Isabel and Ruby.
