Well, I went and took a bullet for 1$ because of this. TL;DR version about the post made by his admin/staff member: Things didn't go as planned with DoD DE, team is upset about it, there has been some third problem for Dr. Sin that has affected the development progress after the "back pains" and "covid", which is the reason he is not communicating as frequently because "it does not even matter what is the truth because it is just frustrating for everybody". They are working towards one milestone in the development of DoD DE and they are quite close to reaching it. "Overall, we are definitely getting closer to where we want to be, and I am certainly glad for that."
That's pretty much it.

I'm a little lost. Can anyone tell me what DoD: DE is? Is there a new Dreams of Desire standalone game being released?
It's a "remake" of Dreams of Desire. Basically exactly the same game that was finished nearly three years ago, includes some new scenes, some reworked endings so it wouldn't feel so rushed, the biggest improvement is animations since there is going to be over 310 60fps animations, the Holiday special and Lost Memories DLC gets the same processing too and is finally included to the main game instead of just being standalones. Lewdlab's aim is to go to the Steam with that package.

I played Midnight Paradise and I have a problem with the story, I hope someone can help me.
I saw the " secret " scene between Ruby and Isabel (lesbian scene in Ruby's bedroom)
These extra scenes are a " real part " of the story, or not ? I ask because :
1) That scene makes no sense, it came out from nowhere and we never had any clue about the two sisters being that close. On top of that, it's inconsistant because, Isabel said to MC that they can't do that because they are siblings. So you can think extra scenes are not a part of the story.
2) That scene makes sense, because they are describing some past and timeline that could actually be a part of the story. So you can think extra scenes are a part of the story.
Can you see my dilema ?
My position is : I really hope they are just some bonuses and actually not a part of the story, more like MC's fantasy. Because if they are not, then those ladies would be nothing but a bunch of hypocrites. And, considering they have sex behind MC's back, it could also be some kind of NTR. (I saw the mom and teacher too, and the mom and daughter at gym/yoga.)
That's why I would like a confirmation from someone who really knows.
I asked the Dev directly but he didn't answered.

Those extra scenes are all non canonic to the story, just a means to show some action without breaking the flow of the story.
I personally think it's a waste of time but some people might go crazy without seeying a tit or a pussy for a long time so the devs use these as medium to keep em cool.

I think LewdLab incorporated some extra/elite scenes into main story. I also saw sisters going at it during gameplay and not from gallery and it felt pretty ridiculous considering the way they treat mc.

I was wrong then. I couldve swear I never installed any mods for this game since it has built in walkthrough but code doesn't lie.
