it's not bizarre at all. He gotta keep dangling that carrot. Most devs do that to some extent and even though i don't like milfs personally i would agree with you that she is most player's fave and he knows that.

You might as well consider it that way. Even if an update comes out the following weeks, it would take at least three consecutive updates in a row within schedule to restore trust. This whole mentality of leaving months in between your updates for making supposedly super important changes to the gameplay and story ist just so bad from a game design point of view. Devs should make shorter games overall or divide it into chapters, so that they can adapt changes more fluently without redeveloping all of the game they have already put in so much effort and the majority of people had no problem to begin with. It's unnecessary effort in a unfriendly programming environment because you have to retouch everything you did before multiple times.

I pay in the TGO game because I know updates are always coming out, which makes the amount to be paid fair.

You can pull the plug on this one then. Here is a brief summary. Last update came in 2022 March. One before that in 2022 January and before that he was on a "hiatus" revamping his previous VN after he released the update in 2021 April.

So, since 2021 April, the VN seen 2 updates and we are in 2023 January.
