I read the reviews and I see something in common between lewdlab and icstor and they actually seek within their personal effort to build an erotic game to recover or make it worth hours and weeks of effort these breaks actually serve to collect the maximum possible resource and for the developer, artist, gamer or whatever your game will be worth more than what you see.
midnight paradise has a good story, characters the issue of incest and having sex with the mother are fetishes well sewn into the story but, well but the game is grade 5, quality and position of scenes, character are templates that I observe in other games and I open quotes here well , WELL but BEEMM better graphics, scene shots and character positions and without mentioning names but at least 8 games beat 10. The delay and even the non-delivery of this project can frustrate many but not ALL, it has already become an outdated game and maybe the dev doesn't even have an idea of another project his stock of creativity turned so much to excuses for the delay that he didn't even realize it, I feel sorry for her. underdog.

i love how the dev talks about "you don't know how much work this is guyzzz" meanwhile i am sitting here playing a fuck ton of H games gathering far more exp on how fast and how much content a project should have that far surpasses his own, i mean for fuck sake tresure of nadia started AFTER his project and it's already finished, not to mention that the 3rd part of that trilogy is past the half way mark, "people leave mean comments so it LiLi getting me down guayzzz" well not shit sherlock, it's almost like the game it's takeing a piss when it comes to delivering content ain't it?
trying to gaslight his supporters because there lackluster performance is 1 heck of a dick move.... but than again.... thous are the guys enableing the devs to not make any significant progress through patting the patreon supp for close to no progress, maybe this way they will learn to be more responsible with there cash, sooo fuck it i will call this situation: an AVERAGE VICTORY Contrary to most I don't think that most of the developers who start lacking on updates are scammers, at least not in the conventional sense. I think they are just uncapable of planning larger projects in general and are horrible at organizing themselves. Instead of putting a few hours into thinking ahead and sketching out a plan to follow up, they constantly switch around ideas and try to become the next Picasso or Shakespeare, as if their "art" or story will somehow make history.
To be fair, I assume some of them suffer indeed from procrastination, possibly resulting from having stupidly high expectations of oneself. I can relate to that, because I was suffering from that for a long time myself and work output can indeed become extremly low to what you were used to but bottom line stays the same: As soon as your paycheck starts becoming low enough your instincts will kick in and you are all of a sudden capable of doing some work again.
So while I disagree with the motive I very much agree with the result: Stop supporting those scammers/procrastinators. They need some serious dent in their financials to overthink their whole way on how they go about work, expectations and how to organize themselves.

I think a lot of the issues people have is that they monetize their procrastination. The decent ones that don't get called scammers would turn off their monetization for failing to follow through as a sign of trust. The ones that do, obviously keep delaying with little or nothing to show for it.
The Dev cant even keep the promise of providing a status update and the supporters assume he will release the game. Laughable
