Basically the puzzle is good. I'm just a little annoyed that I didn't solve it by myself right away. I grew up with point-click adventures. That sort of thing happens more often there. I'm probably getting old.
So far I like the game a lot better than Mystwood Manor. That's probably because we´re playing a real role this time that we can identify with, being closer to the people. The game before was essentially more of an economic simulation. Even though it's a good game, in the end it never captured me in terms of atmosphere. The current game, however, works fine. I'm totally into it.
I noticed that the German is pretty good. Not a given when you know that Faerin and his people are not nativ German speaker, as far as I know. Our grammar can be a bit confusing to outsiders.
However, I have two points of criticism:
First of all, the writers should agree on the personal pronouns, whether they use the official "sie" or the more personal "du". The permanent mix reads terribly. I would suggest that everyone address the MC as “sie” purely for business purposes at the beginning. Then later, as the relationship grows, everyone switches to “du”. I know this isn't easy for Faerin. Because there are significantly fewer personal pronouns in English.
The second one is the Victorias black gym trainer. Some of his sentences are completely incorrectly translated. There are two or three sentences where the German is completely wrong, the sentence structure is not correct at all. It reads like improvised ghetto slang. This should be revised again.
