Thanks for taking the time, it was the read only probably when the game went to make a new autosave or something upon loading. Anyways, thank you, works now.

You're welcome. And just FYI, the game wouldn't write protect saves. It literally needs to write to them. So write protecting them wouldn't make sense.
several times its the same dialogue each time, asks are you still going to keep playing now that you each know you say yes and then the dialogue about that topic ends. I have selected each topic many times in an attempt to progress.

Thanks. But unfortunately you used the cheat mod and we do not offer support to people using it. The cheat mod is known to add bugs in the saves, which is why we don't offer support for it.Here is my most recent save,

It's because of the cheat mod. They are known to create bugs in the saves. I should know, I'm one of the guys on Faerin's team. The only way you can get rid of the issue is to remove the modded file and start a new game. There is no "magic" fix.
You could try asking the person who made the mod, they might, or they might make it worse...
What triggers the second kiss with Olivia? Or her saying what she wants for the laptop? Or finding the final book in her room?
It's been a week in game and the hints on the lower left just say I have to wait for Olivia to figure out what she wants for the laptop. I could have bought a laptop with fight earnings by now.

You need to follow some other hints, try doing Becca's first. You will need to do that and a few others first.
