Here you go... v0.6.0 save. You will need to build up the money a bit. I think at least 1 or 2 fights with Sergei.

It appears that you have used a cheat mod, and broken your game. I suggest uninstalling the mod, and starting over or use the save we have provided.
Got it. I managed to get further as I was trying to get into the room using the House Map instead of being in First Person View. I'll probably end up having to restart anyway, but I'll see how far I get.

Cheat mods are known to break the game and bug your saves, which is why we don't offer support for it.
Understood. I got to where I needed to in the WT. It was simply a matter of timing. The events in the current walkthrough aren't 100 percent aligned to where my save is. Sorry for the false alarm.

Noted. But FTR, there is a little notation under the ToC that informs the reader to "follow the in-game hints" to correspond with what the abbreviated hints in the walkthrough shows. Everybody plays the game in the order of their choosing. So yeah, sometimes the hints won't align just right if you're doing events out of order with the way I wrote them. It was written in the order I played the events during testing of the updates.
I plan on doing another huge revision to the walkthrough over the coming weekend, so I'll have an update for it soon.

It shows that you still need to talk to Annabelle before you can continue her events, and to go swimming at 9am for Kate.

So I decided to play the whole thing from the start. The only hint I'm getting now is that Madeline's room is unlocked when Rebecca is preparing her bath. I've gone into the room multiple times and clicked everything. I'm sure I'm supposed to find her book at this point. If memory serves I recall having first seeing the book without being able to take it in previous runs, but this time I haven't. Somehow that moment has been bypassed and now the book isn't hidden anywhere when it is supposed to be. That or the moment of seeing the book is yet to be triggered and the hints are skipping it.
The only modification I have is the patch that changes the girls to step-mom and half-sisters.

It looks as though you are going in there in the afternoon when she is cleaning the bathroom.
You need to go at 21:00 when she is preparing the bath.

Thanks! Knew there was something I was missing and would only realise the blind spot after I asked. Could the hints be updated to have the exact time when you are supposed to do something?
Well, it says 'evening', not 'afternoon', but that is why we make the walkthrough, just in case.
