Did you extract the new version to a new folder, or did you overwrite the files in the old one?

i overwrit it, it`s just me being blind and dumb i think, i hoverd over my image and got the new stuff
Overwriting is never a good idea.
I suggest extracting to a new folder, and copying over your saves, just to be safe. You never know when something like that can cause issues.

No, sadly there is no way to change the MC's name. You'd have to start a new game to do that.

As for skills, doesn't the fact that Mike beat the previous two fighters show his level? This is an even more realistic indicator than any points.
Anyway, I don't think it's worth slowing down the movement of the arrows so much when Mike is too skilled. Also I think that Devon really deserves difficulty boost.
If Faerin sees any common sense in my reasoning, he might ask what his subscribers on Patreon think about these things. I think it's fair to prioritize the opinions of those who support the game's development financially.

It's not a secret secret, but he doesn't want to let the others know that he is so broke that (even after they paid him a bunch of cash) he is having to do underground fights to make money.
Mike doesn't necessarily have to go to the fight event. He can just wander around the city (I did this on purpose to check what would happen if he didn’t manage to take Madeline to the meeting on time, since you can’t skip time in such cases, but if Mike leaves the house before the time...).
By the way, in all my playthroughs, Mike had over $40000 left by the end of the game. And that's taking into account all expenses, so there's nothing suspitious about him being broke.

Depends on how often you fight. At the start of the game, he owes money, then he gets paid $50k, and has to immediately turn around and use that to pay off his debt. So yeah, he is broke there. Any money you have is what you got by fighting, unless you used some cheat mod.
Only by fighting. Long boring (because of arrows speed) fighting. Even 50 Skill points vs Sergei is pretty slow.

If you don't have them yet, you likely need to do more of Maddie's story first. That is near the end of her story.
