I go to madelines room everyday and check the 7 places but cant find the book of lust, even though the hint of rebecca leaving the room unlocked while setting up the bathroom is there. What do I do to find the book

Which one of these three hints are you seeing?
1. When she is cleaning Madeline's room in the afternoon, she doesn't lock the door (Rebecca's hint).
If that is the hint you are seeing, it's too soon for you to find the book yet.
2. Her room is unlocked in the evening when Rebecca prepares her evening bath (Madeline's first hint).
Go to Madeline's room at 21:00. You'll see a book sitting on the Ottoman, but you can't take it yet.
3. Maybe I can sneak into her room when Rebecca is cleaning the bathroom (Madeline's second hint).
Go to her room at 16:00 and search for the book.

Hey guys help me out here !!. In the game the start and load option seems to be having some kind of lock . I couldn't play the game
Did you extract the game (using WinRAR or 7Zip), or are you trying to play it from inside the archive?
I tried playing using inside the archive . So is this happens for everyone or is this that i didn't installed properly.
No, you need to extract the folder first, you can't play inside the archive.
Open it in winrar, and pull the file out of there, and into something like C:\Games\ or some other non-system folder. and then try again.

How to solve the puzzle after inserting the seven books in the book case? There are four colours shown and one key. The key unlocks the door in the basement but what do the colours indicate? Can anyone help?
The colours correspond to the seven deadly sins/the seven books, the clues for which are the seven paintings in the mansion.
The game's main menu should say "Mapping: On" in the lower left corner if the patch is in the right place. The mapping.json file needs to be extracted from the .7z archive and placed into the same folder that contains the .exe file.
