Are you overwriting v0.5.1 with v0.8.0? If so, that will cause all kinds of problems. It needs to be extracted to its own folder. Never overwrite earlier versions. Move your saves from the last version you played the game in to the new version, then delete the old version.

On top of that, you have it buried under multiple sub-folders.


Just D:\Midnight Sin v0.8.0 is sufficient enough.

Two things here, first, don't double up the folders like that, and second, it sounds like you might not have had a successful download then. My next suggestion would be to redownload it, and I would recommend using a downloader, such as Jdownloader2, so that it can verify your files when you are done.

anyone else got an issue with not being able to progress after getting the achievement after a scene? i get the tick/achievement pop up but then i can't progress or open menus, just shows the last text and i have to alt+f4.

Skipping time/day before the event can caused that problem.
To fix this, you need to load an older save, and go to bed at midnight without using the skip buttons and waiting for the game to force the issue.

You were using a mod that change this.
The mod should not be compatible with 0.8.0
Please check with the mod creator.

Check to see if you need to finish talking to Olivia or Victoria. If so, once you complete that, you will see the new hint.

I have done all tasks and the only left for now is speaking with Rebecca to know her better.. but any chance I can speak with her, the characters conversations are grayed out and there is nothing new to talk about. I have Madeline's panties in my inventory too.
What am I missing? any advice?
