You can do that, but I guess that will rerender the videos, which takes time and you lose quality and/or potentially the result becomes bigger. The ffmpeg join command is lossless and thus very fast.

Not really. With these three vids in particular it only took less than 15 seconds for them to merge and less than that to upload them with no loss of quality.

The straight stuff is really good, but I feel like the futa animations are even better in quality, so I kinda want more. Maybe I'm just biased though.
