like I get the parry then press Z but my character does a weird animation cancel instead of doing a counter slash

counter thrust works fine though

Same I can parry just fine, but it just does a normal attack afterwards. Thrust works after blocking, but no counter slash after parry. Anyone ever figure this out?

seems to be the full gallery and all new levels for the new update, i didnt see any new collectables though. theres some good stuff and levels in here
The new update added new lore collectibles by clearing the missions normally(?) I forget if difficulty mattered or not lmao

Clearing all the levels on the hardest difficulty also adds new secondaries weapons for the main trio ("As proof of overcoming hardships, special equipment was unlocked" ~mtl):

Ikaru (Ninja) also got a new throwing weapon added somewhere "in several early stages"(according to recent ci-en post) which I haven't gotten around doing yet. I might just end up checking it's location in ActionEdi4 instead lol

Save files from previous versions work just fine with it. Haven't tested any the translation patch nor Remix.
Is this actually the new version? I haven't noticed a single new thing yet and I got the whole way to that horribly difficult dragon lady near the end.

Hmm, nevermind, loading the user_data from iloveprojectx123 "fixed" it (whatever it was).

seems like the translation patch breaks the new version somehow (stop running error, not even a missing asset popup) so thats sad

I believe you have to beat the final boss for the first extra stage to unlock, and then they unlock in sequence from there. Not sure as I just copied over my complete saves from the previous version.

Unrelated but, I do recommend keeping the previous version around if you like seeing the semi-clothed sprites during gameplay as there is no setting to disable full stripping in this version. It was MTL'd but I read a comment asking why and AcidStyle's answer was something to the effect that it would be too complicated to be worth delaying the update even longer for. No idea how the scripting works with this engine so I have no idea how hard that would be to do. Perhaps something to consider for Remix? (Speaking of which, god this is rambly, Thank you for all your hard work Artix0)

Hey ! It's actually pretty simple passing though the basics. The engine (Aquedi4, see ) works as a drop in, basically place the editor in the same place as the game exe and you're good to edit whatever you want. We have a partially translated editor to English, if you're interested (we didn't published it publicly so far).

The concepts are very similar to RPG maker, using "flows" like RPG maker uses RPG Maker script. Modding is actually quite easy, but really version dependant. Your mod won't work on newer or older version of the engine, nor newer or any change of the map. It's one mod for one game version, and if the game change you certainly need to re-create the mod. It's fairly bad, but at least it's quite simple to edit game (similar to RPG maker games)

You will still need knowledge on how to edit pictures (pixel art) and a lot of patience to navigate though the endless menus of the editor. I hugely respect people who do manual (non MTL) translations and mods on Aquedi4, it's really a busy ant task...

Checked the gallery after beating the game and it has way more animations than I could ever manage to trigger in-game. Basically every variation of an animation exists for each of the 6 or so girls, and yet I've never seen most of them. Odd.
Either way, great game. I do think the Boss' HP pools are way too bloated though.

I've noticed that the grabbing enemies will always do the same animation in a grab, so a lot of the animations are behind actually losing to the enemies. At least I'm pretty sure that's the case.

Some bosses were kinda difficult, the blue oni girl especially gave me a tough time the first time around. Now that I've beat the whole game though I wish there was some sort of extra difficult mode.
