1. Paul has been coming home late and neglecting Mila because he's fooling
around with his co worker Janet. Paul admits to dancing with and kissing Janet.
He tells Mila he's been hiding his "real self" because (excuse excuse excuse).
He starts gaslighting her making himself the victim of his own upbringing and
"forced" expectations to be a "good husband".

Remember Mila in the intro - no of course no one does.
"Paul is a Prince on a white horse - he doesn't understand me - our sex is "sickly vanilla"

But Janet. Instead of taking care of his wife's needs - he gets STOLEN by Janet.

2. They had "lunch" a couple of times and drinks. *shhhh loyal Paul*
Meanwhile Mila is sitting home sewing and signing up to a BDSM app for some kind
of attention. Lest we all forget. But don't worry. Janet is taking good care of Paul.

*shhhh loyal path isn't ntr....*

If you say it enough aDDont might start convincing you.

On one of these drinking nights, Paul kisses Janet and likes it.

Paul asks if Mila is insane (foreshadowing) because she's relieved he didn't say they had sex.
Paul starts in on "I'm married"... didn't stop you from hanging out and drinking with another
woman several times until it reached a sexual climax where you had to kiss her. shhh not ntr...

3. Mila asks if he's in love with her. Paul say he doesn't know....... he.... doesn't.... now. Riiiiight...
That's very reassuring but not NTR at all...

4. That night Mila has a nightmare in Paris and Kira is making out with Paul and STEALING HIM.
This is called PROJECTION. Because Mila was jealous of Paul lending her his shirt, Mila is now
projecting her pain of betrayal on to Kira. MILA IS MENTALLY BROKEN.

5. From this moment on in her fall in to insanity she begins forcing tis dream to come true.
She begins to push Paul and Kira together to make this happen. Once again victimizing herself.
She doesn't really want this but she is broken and losing her mind. After this revelation she can
no longer orgasm. Paul can not make her cum. Because he cheated on her. Betrayed her.
See. This is why you needed me aDDont. How the fuck do you know how a women feels when her
"Prince" abandons her to "kiss" another big tit bitch? This shows me how much men truly understand
or care. Our bodies break down. Like mine did after a week of abuse. I had to take a day off.
Mila can't cum because her body has rejected Paul. So what does her do? Orgasm Control HAHAHAHA
Let's not deal with the damage you did, Paul. Just order her more pain. For the lulz.

THIS IS NTR! Loyal path my amazing ass. Welcome to the gas light.
This is what I fixed but he sold it anyway accusing ME of writing NTR. This is HIS writing.

Anyone that wants to discuss NTR can DM me. That goes for you too Machete. You can DM me any time.
I didn't mean that the way it sounded but maybe I did.

I have judged you too harshly, you seem to understand the difference unlike this dev.
No wonder things didn't work out. Why not just fork the game and write your own version of it. It's not stealing, all his work and images are generated from open source software that people like me contributed to. Call it Mila2.0. Or just make your own from scratch. I'm sure people here would like to see a coherent story with paths that make sense.

"Loyal" means both characters remain loyal and its a pure vanilla romance route. What you're doing is a Cuckquean route. Maybe crutchgpt can help you understand the difference better than I can. It seems to be doing most the writing for you anyways.
The harem route is not an issue, at least you understand what that is.

Labels and tags are there for a reason, don't misuse them just becuase you are the creator of a porn game. Imagine if a musician releases a song, label it classical and it's clearly hip hop. But they refuse to admit because it's their idea of classical music, and the audience should just "interpret it".
We’re back to discussing semantics again? Alright then.

In the game, there are three main routes that, in the first version, were named “Loyal”, “NTR”, and “NTS”. Even though these abbreviations carry a deep cultural meaning that apparently we “have no right to touch,” for the vast majority of people they simply mean:
“Loyal” (where the girl stays faithful),
“NTR” (where she cheats on the MC), and
“NTS” (“sharing,” meaning cheating with consent).

Initially, the game fully aligned with these definitions. But at this point, the routes have become much broader and deeper, offering a wider range of emotions and kinks within each branch. That’s why starting from version 1.4.5a the route naming has been changed – including in the current public version, if you didn’t notice. Here’s how they’re labeled now: 1751532060065.png

The “Loyal” route, in the sense you’re talking about, is NOT being developed at the moment. That’s this one here:
1751532167950.png

It’s the route where Paul and Mila deal with their routine, exhaustion, together with honesty and just the two of them.

The route with Kiki is the beginning of the Polyamorous Harem. This is part of the loyal branch. Because Mila is loyal to Paul, Kiki is loyal to Paul, and Janet will be loyal to Paul too. From an emotional standpoint, a harem is essentially a sub-type of loyal kink in my view. Because the majority of the audience will be identifying with Paul in this route. He’s the one “cheating”, not her. The emotional vibe is completely different. But sure, if you really want, you can argue that a harem is a “subtype” of NTR kink.
And again, if we’re discussing semantics – the route is literally called “Polyamorous Harem”. It was "loyal harem" before. I get the point from both names, but “Polyamorous Harem” fits better. None strike me as a "NTR type" of plot.

But overall, this subroute can be seen as a cuckquean route, since the harem is shown from Mila’s perspective and she’s the main driver of these relationships. But she’s looking for love in these dynamics, not humiliation. Yet again, if someone wants to cherry-pick her lines out of context, they can see whatever they want to see.

Using a music analogy:
I’m saying I want to write a hip-hop track that really hits. Silken says that because there’s a saxophone in it, it’s jazz. And that I need to rewrite the whole thing to make it a perfect “jazz piece.” But I still want to write hip-hop.
Does refusing to rewrite it as jazz mean I’m abusive and untrusting? Apparently, yes.

As for interpretations – in my opinion, any well-written story is like a Rorschach test. I once spoke with someone who seriously argued that Crime and Punishment is a detective novel about a serial killer.
Of course, there are times when something is written in such an “arthouse” style that every person who reads it will see something completely different. But I think me and my buddy ChatGPT manage to keep a balance where the majority understand both what the story is about and what kind of person Mila is – roughly as I intended.

In some cases we fail. But I hope you’ll find (or create) a game that perfectly captures all the nuances and semantics that are important to you.

Basically, the answers I got when I asked this is that they play NTR games for female characters to just be corrupted into whatever they want to see her doing but often NTR is unnecessary because most FMC games are the corruption type anyway.
My impression exactly that FMC games offer the same experience.
It's like saying: "Throw a bunch of random fight scenes together - and it'll be the same as Arcane."
Drama. It's a little more complicated than that.
Somehow the cheating makes it hotter, but then again why cheating isn't hot when a male character is doing? So, those who self insert hate NTR and those who don't love it.
Because it's not about cheating or self-insertion, Jesus. People watch horror movies. But some people hate them. What a mystery.

Cheating is just a storytelling mechanism like any other.

Ok, just change your perspective for a moment:

I'll just say that from a player perspective, the path naming makes perfect sense once you realize it's from Paul's perspective regarding Mila.

If the NTR paths were named based on Mila's perspective, it would be Paul getting stolen. But that's not the case; Mila is the one cheating with other guys and being stolen from Paul.

If the NTS paths were named based on Mila's perspective, it would be Paul being shared with a "Bob" equivalent. But again, that's not the case.

If you follow the same pattern, a Loyal path would again be named based on Paul's perspective. And thus far, that is the case.

Now, one could argue that since Mila is the primary protagonist it might make more sense to name paths based on her perspective. But that's not the way things have been set up here, probably because Paul mostly reacts to her actions and because the majority of AVN labels are male-centric.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I don't see polyamory as disloyal at all so long as everyone is on board and no one breaks any terms of their relationship agreement. I define loyalty in a relationship as maintaining honesty, respect, and commitment to agreements made with each partner, rather than exclusively sexual fidelity.

I totally agree. That's why i'm perplexed by the NTR genre which is more like a checkboxes page of "blacks hunks gangbang: done, elderly horny neighbor: done, MC cleaning cumdripping LI: done..."

That's true. But in order to make it a storytelling mechanism there has to be a story.

And it took me a moment, but frankly there isn't. A FMC and her NPC are thrown out there and she begins to cheat on him out of the blue. No reason given other than she's bored and wants to become a gangbang sl*t for some undisclosed reason just to put a string of lewd images together with literally no story anymore, including just vanishing the important NPC, is simply not good storytelling. The problem became apparent to me when I saw the other branches of the story. They are literally not in the origianl idea and they are stale.

Do you now what is alos important to storytelling? Relateable character building. Without a relateable character, good or bad, the whole story becomes boring and pointless. Plus missing a twist. Mila gets a call and divorced and the reaction is virtually zero. He just vanishes from the story line.

The characters, even Mila to a degree, are completely lifeless and shallow. Bob might be given a bit of leniency here, but other than that?

Mila could at this point literally be a collection of lewd pictures without a story at all and have the same effect.

I am sorry, but my last playthrough was literally holding the ctrl key to see if there are any new pictures in there.

I am sorry, and I might be virtually alone in it, but games without an apealing storyline? Hard pass after the first. No matter how many branches are included and unfinished.

2 cents, don't ask for change

I see it in somewhat different, it is Mila relationship towards Paul, is she Loyal to him? Is she a hotwife/subslut (NTS)? Does she cheat (NTR)?

So it does make perfect sense to me, I really do not understand the confusion.
And I don't mean this as a disparaging comment, it seems very linear to me.

The characters, even Mila to a degree, are completely lifeless and shallow. Bob might be given a bit of leniency here, but other than that?
This comment is weird to me, there is a lot of introspective dialogue for Mila and character building dialogue between Mila and Paul.
I can agree that the club scene came a bit too quickly, but same as the Bob events and NTR events. (Actually a bit quicker than that but we don't know how far the Loyal path will go.)
But before that we get the dialogue in the bathroom and some character building for Kiki.

I mean I enjoy dialogue heavy games, but Mila is kind of in the balance between "world building" and scenes.

I don't disagree, but the reason I say "from Paul's perspective" is because generally speaking when an adult work is called NTR or NTS, it's from the primary protagonist's perspective regarding their partner. Whereas here the paths are labeled from the secondary protagonist's perspective about the primary protagonist.

Once I recognized that difference though, the labels make sense to me.

I see what you mean, but I have seen NTR games labeled as such with a fem protag.
Now that I think about it, it is weird that there are not many NTR games where you play the male cheating on the spouse.
It seems like being NTRd is sort of a male "privilege" :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I think the labelling suffers a bit because AVNs and other works in that genre have historically been male-centric.

This comment is weird to me, there is a lot of introspective dialogue for Mila and character building dialogue between Mila and Paul.
Are they, though? There was a lot of words said to the effect, oh well, I cheat anyway. Then from being a night out to divorce without so much of at least one scene where Paul gets confirmation?
Ending it with a phone call and absolutely no subsequent scene between them? In exchange for what, the umpteenth unrelated gangbang scene with just the same from another angle?

The thing is, noone after 15 years of marriage acts like Mila does, nor Paul. They come off as if they came to be like the player, just then.
Plus it feels rushed. As you say, scenes come too quickly. Literally one dialogue and anyone gets bedded like nothing.

You see, the most disturbing and immersion breaking scene for me was the gangbang phone call scene. It was literally a copy of a 3 minute porn clip. I know everyone who experience it has it at another point in the story, but for me that was the immersion killer. After that it was over. Porn logic or not. Literally 3 lines of dialogue.

Sorry, and it's ok to disagree, but that is lazy writing in my book. Plus all the intorspective dialogue is superficial. Nowhere near how someone is going on about betraying their spouse after 15 years. Spoke with a lot of cheaters in my time. And very seldomly you encounter someone so emotionally cold. Especially after getting caught.

Plus, on the Bob path. I live an open marriage after being monogamous before. Those talks take hours and the digestive period days, weeks even. The whole built up is too fast paced.

I hope aDDont achieves what he wants to achieve, but for me this game has become just another of the games with unrealistic organs and mediocre storytelling. Nothing that sticks like DMD, AML, TOW, Fleeting Iris etc.

Thing is, I think you're always going to have to truncate these types of talks in an entertainment medium, whether it be AVNs, novels, TV, etc. Almost no readers want to actually sit through a multi-hour/day/week discussion about pros/cons of opening their relationship, feelings, worries, expectations, boundaries, and so on, so it's essentially a requirement to suspend disbelief a bit to allow them to occur more quickly and more succinctly.

I've had those types of talks with my wife as well, and as long as an AVN hits the "important" parts, it usually feels fine to me even if it flows more quickly.

I sort of agree on those two points, but on NTR route the Mila character has lost herself in hedonism and being outright a bad person.
So while some aspects of the relationship are kinda left behind, the focus on her is not.
Plus it is NTR, most folks (and I don't mean you obviously) want a quick wank over their sexual/emotional inadequacies.
I've said it before, look at the abysmal quality of NTR games in general and how successful they are.

On the NTS is kind of the same but here we have some D/s dynamic that is going on, I still feel that the Paul s route makes little sense in how he spoke at the beginning, but this is just a personal opinion.
There are some talks about sharing and so on but no DEEP talk on how to handle it and how to deal with the situation, that could be added sure but I agree with Rehwyn you might risk a bad pacing.

None of the above makes me think Mila as cardboard, Paul and maybe Bob:sick: could get some expansion at the risk of losing the spotlight on Mila.
Could all the game have the same quality dialogue as the Loyal path? Maybe.
It might just be me but I see NTR/NTS as fetish fulfillment paths while the Loyal is more explorative and challenging? I don't know how to put it in better terms.
(still think that the club scene was a bit too early, but I am a sucker for slow burns so again, personal preeference).

Anyway, no point going back and forth with it, how you feel is how you feel and same for me.
As you said, agree to disagree ;).

Mila lost herself in that route which shows that a smelly piece of meat isn't worth to destroy your entire life you've build for years(marriage and family). I see more and more comments by women that hook ups are bad and aren't fulfilling and that they didn't bring anything good to them. Hook ups are pointless, but it's not on me to judge them. If you don't know your worth and don't value yourself than you are an easy target to be used and dumped.

If you ask me – I also prefer a slower pace and more emotions. But it’s been said many times already, and it’s hard to disagree – pacing is crucial. Too slow – everyone gets bored. Too fast – there’s no depth. I try to fight this by adding dialogue into h-scenes lately, but sometimes it just feels completely illogical given the emotions the characters are supposed to experience.

For example, in the harem route I’m planning a scene where Aunt Ruth scolds Kiki for her bad grades. That conversation will happen during an h-scene with Paul and Mila (I’ll make that scene later of course, I plan to put the loyal route on pause after the next release).

Before I started making this game, I only wrote short stories and my novel. The pacing in a game is completely different. Plus, you have to keep in mind that a lot of information is conveyed through characters’ emotions and actions (I mean visualy), and learning how to do that properly is a skill in itself. From a story perspective, I think the loyal route has the most depth simply because I wrote it last – I just understood better how to show and tell what I wanted by then.

I try to keep the general rhythm as two or three scenes focused on worldbuilding or character development, followed by an h-scene. And I always try to make each next scene hotter than the previous one, because I hate filler scenes in games/movies/shows.

In Bob’s route, the h-scenes were diluted with scenes with Paul and with the stranger to maintain the same pacing, and even then, in my opinion, the route still feels both dragged out and empty at the same time. I’ll be reworking the art and maybe rewriting the story a bit after I move on to the NTS route, just to ‘refresh’ those characters there.

Answering someone’s question about Mila being inconsistent between routes – I honestly don’t even know how to comment on that. If a character is completely consistent, how can she be both loyal and unfaithful at the same time? It’s either one or another. And if the player chooses for her to act like a cheater – it means something pushed her to that before the choice happened. That difference, and the reasons behind her actions, are described in later scenes along with her thought process. So yes, in different routes she is a ‘different’ Mila and Paul is a ‘different’ Paul.

In the NTR route, the breakup scene drained both Mila and me. There was nothing left of her except a hollow shell. That’s shown in later scenes too. Where Mila runs away from her own thoughts and responsibility. But apparently, I need to make an explicit scene where Mila falls to her knees screaming ‘I feel baaaad! I’M SUFFERING!’ for everyone to understand what she’s actually feeling? I think it’s hard for some to get it – especially if they skip the text.

“Fucking the pain away” feels extremely realistic to me because I’ve actually met people who did that in real life. Sometimes you screw up so badly that you just don’t know what to do afterwards. You’re left with no emotions at all, just this gaping hole in your chest. And it doesn’t get any easier just because you ‘deserve it’. If anything, it makes it even harder.

Those thoughts keep crawling back into your mind every night, every minute you’re alone. Some people start drinking. Some turn to drugs. Some just go out and fuck. And some have the strength to apologize and try to fix things.

Mila… she couldn’t do that.

I had to cut the scene where she meets Paul with his new wife (Janet) and kids because honestly, I was sick to my stomach after the previous scenes and was just too exhausted to keep working on it. It's hard to write an empty shell of a human. In private chats, people suggested some good ideas on how to better show Mila’s state, but it’s still going to be emotionally hard for me to create. However, yes – changes are definitely planned for the NTR BBC route.
